The Casey Anthony jury was so suspicious of the accused's father, George Anthony, that jurors believed he could be covering up a crime or even potentially could be a killer himself, the jury foreman said in a televised interview.
"There was a suspicion of him," the juror said. "That was a part of our conversation that we had."
The jury foreman, juror No. 11, voiced his feelings about George Anthony during an interview on Fox News' "On the Record with Greta van Susteren," in which he was photographed from behind and would not reveal his name.
As with other jurors who have been interviewed, the foreman said the panel was unconvinced by the evidence that Casey Anthony, 25, murdered her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee -- and was not even certain that a murder was committed.
"We don't know the cause of death," the juror said. "Everything was speculation."

I was thinking all the time that the defense was just slime for throwing everything against the wall to see if something stuck.
I guess some turds did so, like a college frat boy’s underwear.
It was actually the Martians that did it, to conduct medical experiments.
That is as plausible as the moron jurors “suspicions”.
Just like in the OJ trial, the legal system worked.
Murderers were acquitted because, in both cases, the Prosecution was lazy and inept in their presenting of evidence.
The only thing missing in the Anthony case was an idiot detective (Furman) willing to manufacture evidence for the Prosecution.
I think George was believable regarding everything except the affair.
He was very combative with Baez, and his attorney should have counseled him to try to stop that. (maybe he did)

This was a far worse situation than the OJ trial. In this one they ended up with jurors who could not make a vital link between “Have baby” and “Baby dead” ~ they literally speak of things as if no one could demonstrate that the baby was dead.
There is no common sense left in America.
That was their job. The prosecution did the same by saying the child had duct tape over the nose and mouth. There was no evidence of that.

I’m not sure what that statement is supposed to mean in cases like this. I mean I hear it all the time, but is it supposed to be profound? Should a doctor tell the loved ones of a patient who’s just died because the surgeon botched the operation that the “system worked” because he’s licensed and the procedure took place in a hospital?

It sure did. Mention that he may have sexually abused his daughter and there is suddenly sympathy. Mention that he used the same duct tape to put up missing photos and you get suspicion. I wonder what he thinks of his daughter now? I wonder what he thinks about spending the rest of his life under suspicion? Personally, I would run away from that wife and daughter. But, that’s me.
They obviously paid no attention to the judge’s instruction.

Bernie Goldberg said on BOR last week, and I agree, if this had been a 20 year old black mother from Brownsville, Brooklyn the story would have died ,at most, a week after the death and there would be zero coverage of any court proceedings.I’ve seen enough of these things in NYC and the metro area to know Goldberg is absolutely correct.
