I am a plumber in Southern California, and I almost gasp sometimes at the difference between my beach customers politics, and the increased capacity for consumption that they hire us contractors to add to their homes.

I look at when libs spend lots of money to remodel etc, it puts money into those who do construction, etc. We should be glad they spend their own money- I do agree they they are not as green as most, but lets hope she puts in green technology so her footprint isnt as large.

I just thought that Uncle Teddy, and other Kennedys, had brought so much disgrace and dishonor upon that family with scandals of their own, that how could they say anything about Arnold.
But since Uncle Teddy was shameless, it makes sense that the politics of it was his concern. He made no judgements about Arnold’s behavior, only how it would affect politics.

They say this is a 10 million dollar home...almost 1000 bucks a foot...incredible to me...mine is around 120/foot and it’s better than most round here
Property tax on Maria’s new 10,000,000 digs if here in Nashville area would be around 60,000 a year...and no tax attorney can fix that
Btw tax attorney’s are for when one has charges filed against them or goes to court. 99.9% of tax issues for businesses and individuals are today handled by CPAs

I pay a good bit of tax myself..local mostly and I only used a tax attorney once..when IRS came after me
CPAs are there to help you navigate the Byzantine tax codes...mainly about depreciation schedules for simply operating sheets...really...everything is pretty well defined
Where they really come in handy is in asset valuation for estates or when selling a business..asset versus say goodwill or when and how much to take of a loss for a corporation or LLC
folks are under an illusion to think rich people do not pay tax...they do trust me...you can stretch it out or avoid it till next sale etc but the tax is still there
