There must be very few times in American history when a foreign government is accused of killing American troops, and absolutely nothing is done about it.
-excerpt-
Our forces are not killing Iranians, but Iran has been killing Americansin Iraq and Afghanistan, but also through involvement in terrorist attacks such as the Khobar Towers bombing in 1996for decades, and it has paid no price. This is the probable explanation why continuing American promises, or threats if you like, that it is unacceptable for Iran to acquire nuclear weapons dont appear to rattle Tehran. What credibility can we possibly have when they know we know that Iran has been killing American soldiers year after year without any significant American response.

Well, Mr. Abrams. When you spend most of your time condemning Americans and Israelis for massacres of innocent people instead of doing your job, it makes people gun shy.
It is an unintended consequence of the MSM’s irresponsibility.
We bomb Libya, that will show those sorry ass Iranians.
Iran or any other peace loving (sarc) Mid East, Arab country killing Americans is simply the result of American existence according to this President. Note his earlier quote on the issue;
“It’s my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we, as a Nation of warring people, conduct ourselves like the nations of Islam, where peace prevails - - - perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments .......”
This President doesn’t seem to like America and the possibility is that collateral damage is just the next step.
President Obama has shown ZERO interest in confronting Iran’s rise to power.......sorta reminds you of the 1930s when nobody confronted the Nazi rise to power......
Careful. Elliot Abrams (the author of your “news” article) is a convicted felon who shot his own rifle rounds into the air in Panama to be able to say that there was “firing going on near a U.S. base” around Managua, Panama.
To say that he promotes the U.S. going to war is the grandest of understatements.
Can you provide a specific link for this quote?
Because all I'm finding says this is a work of fiction, and that Obama never made the quote.
As a nation, we are so dumb that we do not know when we are at war. A nation can kill our soldiers, and we worry about gun control and abortion. When a nuclear device explodes in a major US city, we will probably worry about emissions from coal fired power plants.
If you can come up with a reference or link to that quote besides a phony Meet the Press show that didn’t happen or phony Washington Post writer who doesn’t exist, I’d appreciate it.
I don’t care if his last name is Clinton, he’s right on this.
This horse crap would NOT be happening if Ronald Reagan or another conservative PRO American were president instead of this nancy boy.
Great iddea for a commercial;
Obammy is letting our service members get killed as a result of Iran and is doing nothing about it.
What would YOU do about this if YOU become president?
We'll talk them out of creating nuclear weapons! /s
Just give us a few more years...
This was going on under the Bush administration as well. I didn’t understand it then and I don’t now.
I think we should fund a small group of Iranian rebels and have them blow up bridges, power plant, pipelines etc in Iran. They need some skin in the game.

Usually, nothing. That’s why they keep doing it.
Absolutely correct. Bush was no better than Obama on this. All through the Iraq campaign, roadside bombs came into Iraq through Iran, and Bush did nothing. That was unforgivable.
To those who would say, What could Bush have done? I say anything would have been better than nothing. Send a forceful message, as Reagan would have done.
