WEST POINT, N.Y. — President Obama on Tuesday appointed an openly gay former Army officer to the U.S. Military Academy’s Board of Visitors.

Former Capt. Brenda S. “Sue” Fulton, a founding board member of OutServe, an association of actively serving gay military personnel, is also co-founder and executive director of Knights Out, an organization of gay West Point graduates. She graduated in 1980 with the first West Point class to include women.

And was indeed a butch dyke.

Our next president is going to have to be willing to remove hundreds of appointees going back to Clinton. To top it off, many of those jobs will need to be eliminated altogether.

I'd still like to see scores of Klinton executive orders rescinded, as Bush was allegedly going to do. Now we have scores more needing to go, with Bush and the Obammunist's names on them. I don't care how long it takes...next president, get it done!

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

This is par for the course. Obama has been apointing third rate people to every position he possibly can. We have left-wing hacks at the various regulatory agencies and two pathetic Supreme Court Justices. And that's just to mention a few. Elections have consequences and many of the idiots who pushed the D-Button back in 2008 didn't and don't have a clue as to what they were doing.

Sonia Sotomayor NEVER would have got within an ear shot of Princeton without Affirmative Action. She would also never have been admitted to Yale Law School. Truth is, Sotomayor is probably at the intellectual level of the average traffic court judge (no disrespect to the traffic court judges out there). She's not any type of serious thinker and has nothing in her background that would convince any serious person that she should be sitting on any Federal Bench, particularly the SCOTUS. Pathetic.

But this is so typical of this administration. But we all knew that.

George Bush failed in the fact that he didn’t eliminate all the Clinton appointees.

Clinton fired everybody without a peep from the media and Bush fired a handful and the media was screaming for an investigation of wrongdoing.

Apparently you have to fire every last appointee to get a pass from the media.

Just another way to take down the USA ... nothing like a queer army to keep us safe.

Exactly. Bush failed to do that, and he paid a high price, as did our country.

Sure, the media screamed and yelled when he fired one or two people, and that continued throughout his eight years, although he did extremely little to clean things up.

At the time, I suggested that he should have taken a piece of advice from Machiavelli. When a Prince needs to do something unpleasant, like murder a few of his rivals or take away a few perks from his enemies, then he should do it early, do it completely, and do it all at once.

Then it's over with, and when people don't see any more of that kind of trouble and turmoil, they stop worry about who will get killed next. Soon, the Prince is seen as a much loved benefactor and father of his people.

Somewhat cynical, but it works. And it's necessary. A private person can afford to be a nice guy and turn the other cheek, but a political leader has a responsibility to his people and his country, and has to put such private proclivities aside.

You are about 98% correct but I won't argue about the 2%. But this drove me nuts about George W. Bush. The guy was probably never in a fist fight in his life. George W. Bush fought by Marquis of Queensbury rules. The people he fought against went into a fight with a lead pipe. George W. Bush brought a knife to a gun fight. This drove me nuts. He should have run every Clinton appointee out of town on a rail. Believe me Clinton did just that. Again, George W. Bush drove me up a wall. I want a guy who brings a gun to a gun fight.

NOTE: Disclaimer: for anyone in government who might be monitoring this post, we are using in metaphors here. We aren't talking about real guns.

By the way, I think Scott Walker did it just right. If you have to do something that will raise a frenzy, then best to do it immediately, and completely. If he had waited around, and hemmed and hawed, and tried to do it gradually, he never would have accomplished anything at all.

Now, by the time his term ends, people will see that the schools are no worse than they were because public employees have to pay a bit more toward their benefits. But if he hadn’t done it, the media would be demonizing him just the same, and blaming him for the coming budget crash.

Destroy our military and we are......who? Monaco??

This is all part of a great plot, people. I hope this POTUS and his handlers have awoken a sleeping giant. We are almost past the point of no return.

Perhaps what GW Bush learned from Katrina was the American people, the elite, the academic establishments, etc. need to learn very hard lessons, because the elite and media response to Katrina showed that America had taken on a major infection to our spirit and major parts of us were delusional, insane, incapable of correction.

Thus, as the leader, he realized he had to go passive and take a big hit, and allow the Insane the next election and the next four years of power, for only by getting much worse could we learn no longer to tolerate such delusions.

This rubric of going all the way to the bottom before recovery can start is something he might have been familiar with from dealing with his own alcohol problems, for it is what AA teaches as I understand.

Yeah. Perhaps I should have added that when Machiavelli recommended that the Prince kill off all his rivals at once, in order to get the unpleasantness over with quickly, I didn’t mean that our next leader should take that advice literally today. That shouldn’t need explaining, but the left is good at demonizing the opposition.

Get them out of there. In Machiavelli’s day, that might mean stabbing an enemy and leaving his body in the public square, as Borgia did, much to Machiavelli’s admiration. After seeing that body, the townspeople walked softly. In our day, it means firing the useless, country-destroying bloodsuckers. Get them out of the government, much as clinton did. Clinton fired 50 Prosecutors and an FBI Director, and not a word from the press. Bush waited years and then fired a couple of prosecutors, and never heard the end of it.

The Obama administration is packed full of ideological incompetents. They all have to be fired, and the horses they rode in on. And the thousands of clintonoids who are happily working with them.

I was thinking the same thing.

The damage this usurper has perpetrated against our country is simply mind-bending. MIND-BENDING!

The question is, was Bush merely incompetent or was he complicit with the agenda. The more I observe the actions of the GOP, the more I'm convinced they are complicit.

Maybe it’s all the gays and lesbian activists in the White House

http://www.nachumlist.com/LGBT.htm

Maybe it was Obama’s membership in Gay Man’s club in Chicago

http://fellowshipofminds.wordpress.com/2010/05/27/washington-insider-obama-member-of-chicago-gay-mans-club/

Then there was the ‘Down Low Club’
