Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
I'm still baffled as to how the media decides which of the many thousands of murder cases each year they decide to make "high profile". Sometimes I think it's really just a random pick. The media drives the news these days.
That's the point. There was reasonable doubt about what happened. Period.
It's just the way our system works, and I am glad to be an American.
This woman is the only person WHO knew and stated to the investigators, how long the child was 'missing'. She murdered her own child and because she was so very clever and did NOT leave enough traceable evidence for anyone but GOD to discover she walks. We have in majority gone to the dark side.
Yep, and Obamacare will handle the euthanasia part.

Casey is going to face the same court of public opinion OJ did. It did NOT make him rich and in fact cost him many opportunities to make the money he used to earn. Not that she ever earned a dime but no one is going to buy her book simply because 12 Pinellas County (I’ve been there) jurors thought she was pretty or looked like a nice girl or had a reputation for being easy...whatever the individual reason Casey is not going to get it so lightly from the rest of the world. Lizzie Borden got away with murder but was a pariah in society for the rest of her life. I predict a similar future for this murderess.
nah, now she will sue for being falsely convicted behind bars for 3 years, and walk away a multi millionaire.
it looks like OJ may have finally confessed.....to do so soon on TV with Oprah.
Wait until this jury gets questioned. I hope at least ONE reporter asks, “So how DID Caylee end up in that swamp?”
They are not suppose to check their common sense at the door!
Jose did not scold anyone. He is torn, and you can hear it. He believed Casey innocent, but has concern for Caylee. It was the other guy, his “mentor” who scolded the crowd. And that was disgusting. But I think Jose seems truly humble about the verdict, and even praised the prosecution team.
Watched Baez’ face and body for tells when he stated that Casey did not murder Caylee... He practically had to vomit out the words. I believe he is lying.
I would love to see a professionals analysis of his words and body language.
I wonder why none of the jurors was willing to hang the jury?

I can’t believe Jose is standing here lecturing everyone against the death penalty and “killing its citizens”. Are you kidding me? he says he will tell his daughter he saved a life today.
What will he say when he is on his knees before God’s throne?

We are now seeing Obamacare in action..this is the way its going to be..mothers can murder their children and people will be fine with it..Obama is a firm believer in infanticide and euthanasia and I bet these jurors are too

Pinellas County is IMO weird. I was there once and it was more than enough for me.

I agree...there’s a higher court than this. However once again we see our nation is much further down than on a slippery slope...we are now almost on the bottom looking up as far as the mindset. and PC thoughts. and practices. of this nations peoples.
If this jury in a ny way reflects the people...Obama will win the next election. I pray they are not. Cause that too is not over til it’s over.
