" advantage that Kim Pyong-Il has, they say, is his similarity to his father, a man who died in July 1994 but is still revered in North Korea.
Many in the impoverished state look back at his reign with nostalgia for a time when food supplies were adequate and North Korea had functioning industries and higher standards of living.

why doesn’t china feed them?
no korea’s china’s porch puppy.
Dumb move-—the Chia Pet will siphon off the funds and supplies to his army of henchmen. The people will get the scraps let over. North Korea is a demented cult.
The NK Army thanks you, EU.
Even when times were “good” they allowed the undesirables to starve and eat grass.
The only way that the NORKS should get aid, is for our 35,000 South Korea based troops; basically doing very little - yet on alert; to help ladle out food supplies while they are in full US military uniform. Let the massive line-up of starving citizens in all of the population areas of North Korea, know that it’s foreigners who are providing food to keep them alive. Capitalist food!
Let Kim I,II,III know that they are non-revelant, and we are capable of continuing life for their population - on our terms!
Meanwhile STFU!
The only people who will be fed by that 14 million will be the North Korean party elite and their army. I say let them reap what they have sown.
The food aid always goes only to the army and the ruling d-bags in North Korea.
