The President of the United States will be taking your questions about jobs and the economy on July 6 at 2 p.m. EDT over Twitter for what is being billed as the first Twitter town hall. Those interested in asking him a question can use the hashtag #AskObama and follow @townhall to hear his answers.
While we don't yet know how the president will choose which questions he answers or how long the tweeting session will last, check out Twitter's special page dedicated to the event for more information.

Guaranteed its going to be fixed with plants.
Any tweets(?) that are anti-Obama will go down the glory hole, I’m sure. A few FReepers who tweet would be helpful in capturing these before they’re lost.
Are the hashtags #ObamaFail, #SlidingIntoThirdWorldStatus and #MoveBack2Kenya already taken?
The ones that give him the best opportunities to spew mindless talking points.
Well, I might tune in....if it were called Twit....
Oh Goody! The twit is a twittering!
Every question will be a plant, as in the “How do you find time to spend time with your girls while doing such a great job saving the universe” ilk.
Tony “tweets” Weiner will be the moderator!
LOL! “Are you a flake? #ObamaFail”
The little TWIT has to TWITTER because he is not able to TWEET.

uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh!
140 characters of penetrating questions and answers.
LOL!
Digital astroturf kenyan.
Oh, believe me, his answers will not be limited to 140 characters. No way.

According to this his re-election campaign has taken over his twitter account, so this “town-hall” meeting is all being managed by them.
Psst....Here's a clue....He doesn't do his homework...never mind cramming...
So it's tweet one-way and bloviate on the return path. I thought to myself, "Doesn't that break the Tweet protocol?", but you are right, they can use tweets as a one-way incoming mop and respond to the ones they select some other way.. like on the Whitehouse.gov propaganda site.
They hope it makes them look hip, modern, and responsive, while in reality, it's nothing of the kind.
