Keep him medicated and remind him who made him do this. LOL! He’ll be taken off medication and then an interview before the election and he will repeat what he was taught.

This is not a new situation, IIRC. A case similar to this, where the madman’s lawyer was attempting to keep his client “unfit for trial” by defending his refusal of medications which would have such an effect, went up to the USSC, which said yes the defendant could be medicated against his will for the purpose of making him “fit for trial.” There was some consternation about this on FR at the time, I believe. The alleged legal dodge might be a new twist, but it seems to me unnecessary.
