That’s the third time you’ve shouted and alleged Bachman “LIES” without a link?

The figures were provided to NBC News in response to a Freedom of Information request

I wonder how many Freedom of Information requests NBC did for Obamas records and finances or his political associates before and after his election? I wonder how many Freedom of Information requests that NBC made concerning the tax records of Tim "tax cheat" Geithner? I wonder if NBC did a Freedom of Information request concerning the association of ACORN and Obama, Obama and the Weather Underground, etc. etc. etc.?

Is that the sounds of mute crickets I hear?

You shout a lie long enough and often enough and people start believing it. Like "Sarah Palin is Stupid"... "Michelle Bachmann lies" ... "Romney is a conservative" ...

$137,000.00? That’s a pittance in view of the bigger picture. Did he receive these funds directly as salary? I seriesly doubt it.

I can’t believe all he knee jerk capitulation by many Free Republic posters. A health clinc accepts Medicare/ Medicaid and this is somehow a negative? You’ve got to be kidding me.

Next you’ll tell me some of the patients used their Social Security to pay for something.

When was it decided conservatives can have nothing to do with government programs? I missed that memo.

I agree the Republicans need to filter the media like they filter us... and only allow certain news people to get interviews and access to the campaign.

I’ll take it one further and say it’s time to take away from CNN, PBS, ABC et cetera the moderating of the debates within the republican nomination process. We need to take control of how the issues are discussed in the debates. The liberal media should not be allowed in except to observe.

Yeah this is a simple MSM driveby, and looks something they’re throwing against the wall hoping it sticks.
But her weakness in making questionable categorical statements bothers me some too.
Recently didn’t she say she was from John Wayne’s Iowa hometown? (Standing, moment of silence, resuming seat.)
You never let the truth stand in the way of a good story when spinning a yarn with friends but at the same time you don’t embellish a material fact in public, even if it’s arguable that anyone is really relying on it. You leave yourself open to your enemies. She has made quite a few of these mistakes, uh, or been possessed of a state of mind not in accord with the facts. Veracity challenged or whatever the problem, she should, to use a hillbilly espression, `chew over her thoughts before spitting them out.’ The talking heads will run a gaffe at 8:00 AM, noon, 6:00 and 11:00 PM.
Nobody’s watching, but it doesn’t help her.

So, the MSM can investigate the background of Presidential candidates. I wonder when they are going to get around to investigating the background of the incumbent, and his wife.

Hey Isikoff, how did Michelle lose her law license?

What real work did she do for University of Chicago Hospitals?

Once Michelle left UC, who did all that work that she was being paid so handsomely for?

$137,000 for the treatment of patients since 2005,
twenty thousand a year out of a practice that must make ten times that or more.

So what. People accept Medicaid. Believe me he didnt beneift from accepting medicaid, for many practitioners who see a few patients on medicaid, it is essentially charity care when the paperwork is done.

NO COMPARISON $137,000 for realtime treatment of patients since 2005.

Compared to the blatant Medicare/Aid fraud going on elsewhere. Medicare "mills" in Brooklyn, Miami, Detroit, Houston and Baton Rouge, La.

NY POST---July 2010---EXCERPT A Bay Parkway, Brooklyn medical office used a Soviet-era propaganda poster to silence Russian immigrants about getting kickbacks for letting doctors submit thousands of bogus Medicare claims in their names....... the Russian-language poster prominently hung in the "kickback room" of the medical office where Russian immigrants lined up for illegal payoffs. Also busted were Medicare "mills" elsewhere in Brooklyn, and in Miami, Detroit, Houston and Baton Rouge, La.

By Paul Martinka

Russian poster shushed immigrant partners in Medicare fraud. Insert pic is
a Russian immigrant not too happy about being nailed for allowing doctors to
submit her Medicare account for 3,774 medical services over six years.......
for a fee.

In 3 days the media filth has done more digging on Bachmann’s background than they’ve done on Obambi in 3 years. You know these dirtbags will dig into every one of her 23 foster kids to get them to say something negative.

It’s all going to become moot when doctors en masse stop seeing medicaid/medicare patients altogether. It’s alreasy starting on a small scale, but expect it to increase severely as reimbursements keep getting cut. What other business would just sit there and take pennies on the dollar for their services? Try offering your plumber $25 for a job he charges $150 for. And the plumber doesn’t have a lawyer hanging over his shoulder every time he puts in a toilet.

Hey, "nopardons," stop slinging mud.

"Bachmann has also lied about the family farm, of which she and her husband own a part of, but which she keeps claiming is her [father-in-law's)

Look, Marcus Bachmann's father DIED two years ago, so are you saying Michelle is claiming the farm is OWNED BY A DEAD MAN??? It would be normal for her to refer to the farm as her "father-in-law's" since she never lived there, but Marcus' father did, and for a long time......Michelle's husband inherited it, it is nonetheless ACCURATE to refer to it as her father-in-law's farm.

Are you getting your info from Michael ISAKOFF or someone even more stupid and ignorant?

I can’t for the life of me understand why the hell Republicans would allow their enemies to control the campaign like this.

Why not, they get plenty of encouragement from some FReepers. They were horrified by the way Palin has been treated and then happily do the exact same to Bachmann.

Talk about a lack of ethics.

I am not throwing anyone under the bus. You asked a question and I answered it. I just think that the press and the establishment rinos built up michele bachmann for two reasons and she believed the hype. One reason was to stop Palin, and the other was to stop the momentum of woman Conservatives. Maybe they used her. But she clearly isn’t ready for this.
They egged her on, constantly needling her about Sarah Palin. They called her queen of the TEA Party which she isn’t. They made her into a caricature and she is now exactly what they were hoping for.
How is that good for her or any of us?

[[[I too am a big Sarah Palin fan.

However, I would suggest to you that you cease throwing everyone else under the bus with the dream that Sarah Palin will run, will win and will be our next president.

We don’t even know at this time that she will run.]]]]

She is running, I know on ground, some people are working.

“It’s not her/the business getting the money, it’s her LYING about it that I find most disturbing.”

Please elaborate on how Rep. Bachmann lied about getting the money.
