Its all recent fake with Perry; look up his history.
I voted for McGovern and Carter. I changed. Reagan changed. It can happen.
A lot of people have had their eyes opened after witnessing the destruction wrought by liberalism over the last 3 years. I like Perry's current positions. I don't even know if he's running. I don't know if Palin is running. Frankly I wish nobody was running... yet.
I think it is stupid to announce this early. All the candidates should tell Iowa and New Hampshire to take a hike and we'll see them after Christmas.
Bachmann: Mitt Romney has to say what he is,"
Bachmann: "It is distressing that Governor Romney refuses to sign the SBA Pledge, even while claiming to be pro-life."
Bachmann: [this race is} not the time for Republicans to put up a candidate who is weak on this issue and has a history of flip-flopping on this issue.
If Palin were “not running” she would not be in Pella premiering a campaign movie.
If Perry were not running, you would not be hearing of him trying to cut Palin off at public forums.
Perry is running and he knows that the candidate with the broad support is Palin, so that is where his energy has gone.
This ain’t neurosurgery.
P.S. Reagan didn’t change ideology, he changed party.
Who are you supporting, editor? Which candidate is your favorite?
As I see it, there is only one candidate that can possibly bring about the vast correction that is needed to prevent a total collapse of the US that is likely to be under way in 2012, and that is Palin.
The method of governance she applied in Alaska is the very least amount of effort required, and, by levels of magnitude, more than any of the other potential candidates would even consider.
Cain may have the right attitude, but he lacks understanding of government, and that is not an acceptable attribute of a president.
We need TNT under congress and the courts, and a complete reversal of everything that has transpired in the past 10 years. (100 years really). Palin MAY be able to do it, certainly nobody else.
At this point, Palin is not running. Neither is Perry.
I don’t intend to go overboard on either one until they announce.
It would be a shame to be bashing others based on someone who isn’t even running yet.
The real conservative candidates at this point are Pawlenty, Bachman, Santorum, and possibly Cain.
Of the conservative candidates who are running, which is your favorite?
>> “The real conservative candidates at this point are Pawlenty, Bachman, Santorum, and possibly Cain.” <<
.
Of those you list, only Cain is conservative, and lacking in even the smallest bit of government experience.
Pawlenty are both quite liberal in their records. Both are global warmists, although both have made attempts to hide their positions. Both are on record in favor of government health care, their present dissemblance not withstanding. Bachmann is a former Carter and Mcgovern activist.
Santorum is at least soundly pro life, but I could never trust the judgement of a man that was so supportive of Arlen Spector. He is a vacillator on global warming, and has zero understanding of hard money economics.
I suppose you are now calling speaking out on what we know about these wobblers to be bashing? Was the apostle Paul bashing the Corinthians? Or the Athenians?
Now is the time to stand up for what is right, not to get in line behind a goat.
