Oh Gawd do I hope all the national chains pull up stakes and just leave that tar pit. McDonald's should lead the way, too, after having been told what they can and can't have on their menu. And WalMart, I can't even figure out why they stay there no matter how much they make. The whole state seems to be an organized anti-WalMart machine.

There is a huge 350+ lb cashier at the grocery store that I use. I always wondered how she managed to stand on her feet that long.

A few days ago she was sitting on a stool. Well, I think it was a stool, because I couldn't see any part on it.
I mentioned that it was nice for the store to let her sit down now. She said the stool was provided because she was disabled.

I asked her if she had been injured, and she said ...”NO, I'm fat”
