You can all scream...I happen to like Newt. I think he’s a true patriot and smarter then half the folks in Congress.

Can you imagine if anonymous sources were quoted against Michelle Obama in a similar hit piece?

Normally, a politician gains credit when he leaps to the defense of his wife and loses stature when he fails to do so. We will see if the rules apply to Gingrich. I doubt it.

I suspect the mainstream media is will now systematically attempt to destroy every potential Republican nominee because they know as we do that with Obama's polling numbers deteriorating along with the economy the only way they can get him reelected is to elevate the negatives on his opponent.

Expect more of the same from every mainstream media outlet against every Republican in the race and likely to get into the race.

We conservatives ought to consider whether or not we should defend Gingrich because they will come for our guy (or gal) next. Gingrich at least is trying to make them pay a price, will conservatives draw the line here or throw Gingrich under the bus? At some point in this process we conservatives will have to stop retreating and circle the wagons.

Don’t worry, Newt. You’ll raise a little money, travel around the country speaking while eating meals in fine restaurants and staying in fine hotels until the first round of primary votes. After that you and your wife will be able to enjoy as much obscurity as you choose.

Go home and enjoy your wife, we don’t want you! You had your chance in the spotlight and blew it. And have since turned more toward the left every day.

It has become obvious to me that newt’s latest wife wears the pants and make all of the decisions and plans the spending all of their money.

Dumbass. Did he think somehow the media wouldn't lie about him too?

well, good luck with THAT.

It does indicate that he must have some polling that running AGAINST the media will be a winning strategy. Very good news for Sarah.

Free Republic at its best/worst. The conservative who is not perfect should not only be unsupported, he should be destroyed.

Won't leave anyone left..
