A personal note: John Crowley has overcome such heartaches in his life regarding his beautiful children that I can honestly say that even with all his worldly success I wouldn't want to spend one day in this man's shoes. If he decides to run it will only be because he feels he has more to contribute to society and not for self aggrandizement or lust for power and fame.

where is he on the conservative issues? Sounds at initial viewing of his bio, he’d be a great addition to the Senate.

I love seeing people like this run for the Senate. Much like Ron Johnson in Wisconsin, real world experience is a huge asset to a body filled with political lifers and lawyers.

I would say he is a pretty conventional conservative republican...pro life, pro second amendment, very fiscally conservative, and obviously, given his military background, a strong supporter of our military.

But I don't have any idea what is positions are on foreign affairs. But he is the kind of guy who will exercise judgement and principle in deciding how to vote. I know the man and I can tell you if he decides to run it wont be for self aggrandizement or a lust for power or fame.

sounds good to me, especially considering the alternative. Hopefully NJ continues to consider Republicans statewide. It will be tough in a presidential year in NJ.
