On our way overseas, we had several things stolen from our luggage. You are at their mercy because you can’t lock your bags.

TSA officer Al Raimi, 29, of Woodbridge, N.J.

For crying out loud, who, in 1982 named a baby, "Al?" In Jersey no less.

And people wonder why stereotypes exist.

It’s way past time to disband the DHS, eliminate the TSA, and allow CCW holders to fly fully armed.

Problem solved. And it doesn’t cost taxpayers a dime.

“Problems with babies crying will escalate to aircraft turning into Swiss cheese, and falling to Earth and killing everybody.”

That’s why it won’t happen.

Although our travel has been domestic, our experience has been the same. We couldn't get through Philly without losing something out of our suitcases. And what's worse is that nothing is being done about it. We have curbed all but the most necessary air travel, e.g. to see our grand children in New Mexico.

My wife has titanium knees and a back brace. It's ridiculous trying to get her through security without her being molested in some way. She cannot travel alone because the TSA morons will not let her get her carry on luggage and purse prior to "pat down". That exposes her to the risk of someone picking up her handbag while she is away from the conveyor.

“That’s why it won’t happen.”

Nonsense. CCW holders on the whole, are trustworthy individuals who would only brandish a weapon when no other options are left. A requirement for frangible ammunition negates any “swiss cheese” concerns.

Just the likelihood of them being aboard would make any hijack attempt a complete non-starter. So why bother?

See aforementioned Liberal squeak.

They have a section of the country extremely polarized against firearms. Not to mention how many Congressmen *coughschumercough* and Senators *coughboxercough* that are anti-gun as well.

I just realized I called Schumer a Congressman. Is that worse than calling him a bed-wetter?
