Jim Traficant didn’t go to jail till he crossed the Clintons. So, who did Edwards cross to have this happen to him?
I didn’t think the laws that apply to us “Little People” also apply to DNC party affiliates, is there any precident for this sort of treatment? That fact alone makes this almost historic, in proportion.

I don’t get it. He used campaign funds to do it, knowing it was illegal, when he could have used all of his own money and no body would have cared.

His wife probably ran the family finances and would have

If he’d used his own funds, his wife would have noticed. He was more willing to take his chances with the prosecutors.

The AP conveniently missed identifying the political party with which Mr. Edwards is affiliated.
Edwards found a genie in a bottle and was given 3 wishes. The wish for “lots of unprotected sex” is about to be granted.

I have no problem going after John Edwards; he is a sleaze, but what about the Clintons!?!?! The stuff they did when they were “co-presidents” — was FAR WORSE than what Edwards is being indicted for.....
I have a good friend (mid 40’s) who was a HEAVY supporter of JE when he was running for POTUS.
Then he dropped out and she supported Obie.
She was DISGUSTED when JE’s affair came out. She is now disgusted with Obie and the job he is doing.
She calls herself “liberal” because she thinks it is cool, progressive and hip to be that way, yet in conversations about how we think America should be, she CLEARLY is very conservative. I think her parents vote Republican.
It is maddening!
