That old saying still holds true and if you’re from
Alaska you know what it means.

“If you’re not the lead dog,
the scenery never changes.”

That’s what she said in *Going Rogue*
She will never be anyone’s VP again.

I love the look on Piper’s face. She is listening attentively to the person telling about the Liberty Bell.

I hope the Philadelphia union thugs don’t beat her up or even worse.

Sarah in Philly is a gutsy move into enemy territory where the chances of leaving whole are not great. I hope she took lots of body guards and kept the cops at a distance

A medium-close scrutiny of these photos (and Sarah's body language) tells a very interesting story.

First, there are a few a "snake-eaters" in view in her protective phalanx, one of whom gets really upset if the crowd conditions keep him from being in a position to interdict if Sarah is threatened. In the Liberty Bell photos, this guy is wering a pink dress shirt, no tie, and dark tan chinos.

In the "handshake" photo (very interesting!), he's been cut off form her by the crush of the crowd. He's grimacing as he fights his way through to get back in a flanking position. The Philly union cop is smiling oddly as he shakes Sara's hand. Whie we can't hear what he's saying, it is obviously a seriously frim squeeze in his handshake. Sarah, in response, is really giving it back to him, striating the musculature in her forearm. He may be saying something like, "You be safe now..." Another security dude in this frame (behind Sarah, between her and the State Cop) is eyeballing the cameraman with serious intent.

In the photo where the angle is up at Sarah, pink shirt has resumed his comfort stance, and is giving the cameraman a look like he might have to choke the guy.

I am very glad to see this level of personal security. I'm positive they are under orders from Palin to stay incognito as much as possible, but their presence is unmistakable if you know what to look for. For every two or three we can pick out in these photos, I'll bet there are another half-dozen or more "eyes-on" in the immediate perimiter. That doesn't count her advance team, which is doubtlessly among the "visitors" who went through there before Sarah's group arrived, and are probably forming an outer perimeter.

She's taking her safety very seriously, as is her team. This is heartening. If she makes it to election day without a scratch, this team deserves a big "Thank You" from all of us. I don't envy them, given the level of abject hatred the left has for this saint. These are the worst of the worst, the Progressives who want her silenced. People who will stop at nothing, for whom no low is "too low."

I wouldn't be surprised to find some Israeli security personnel in her team. Bibi Netenyahu really likes her alot. May God bless and keep Sarah and her family. Her angels are working overtime; both the celestial ones and the ones with the krav maga training.

>>> You would think Obama could cancel one golfing trip to visit the Liberty Bell. <<<

Liberty? What’s this liberty of which you speak?

You mean the liberties he takes with the public purse, or the liberties he takes with Constitution?

It's pretty cool, trying to pick out her walking Dobermans. At least two of them are seriously mis-wired dudes. Dead eyes, no facial expression, mortality on a stick types.

My personal pick for the her deadliest sticks are "blue shirt" and "black ball cap." Either one of those dudes probably knows more ways to kill me than I know how to die.

Sweet.

I pity the fool who makes a move for her. The blur of a response would probably be too fast for the cameras. I've seen some of these guys in action up close, and it is awe inspiring. R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Look again at that "Cop Handshake" image. It seems Sarah had already tried to step away and disengage, but he's holding her. Next, look at the look on the faces of Piper, the short State Cop holding back the crowd behind Piper, and "pink shirt," struggling to get back to Sarah's side.

All three are staring right at the union cop thug holding onto Sarah, and they ain't smiling. A tense moment, for sure.

She has got huge brass ones to want to do this bus tour. Not to mention alot of faith. And they wonder why we love this gal. Sheesh.

I was thinking the same, but without a video it is hard to tell. The signs like you say do indicate union thug. I agree about her security. Just look at the faces and you know who is out looking after her. One point she made during the Greta interview was security was the basis for short notifications of their destinations.

I would like to see a video of the encounter and the identity of the officer.
