You would think Obama could cancel one golfing trip to visit the Liberty Bell.

For the photo op that is true he might.

But I bet when Palin runs for President, her speeches will in part be about these visits and experiences she is having and what they meant to her personally and commonly to all of us as proud Americans.

That is something the teleprompter won't be able to fake as Obama bobbles his head from teleprompter to teleprompter and scratches his cheek with the middle finger.

That photo of Sarah shaking hands with the security
guard is worth a lot of votes!

One thing this tour is going to provide is a goldmine
of pictures of her interacting with other Americans
on a one to one basis, something you just can’t catch
when there is an scrum ( there, I used it, seems as though
that’s the proper word to describe a horde of media)
following your every move and invading your personal
space to the point that media is three and four deep
and you’re luck to reach out and touch someone in a
sea of hands.

Great thinking going on behind this “tour”.

As I said elsewhere, what better way to prepare yourself
for the job ahead than by touching the roots of our
shared heritage and being rejuvenated and reminded
of the sacred ideals you are about to assume.
It should practically be manditory for all elected
officials...

I truly believe you’re right; that she will speak from her heart about our Founders, our nation’s principles and the reasons we must restore our Republic to its Constitutional authorizations.

She was magnificent today when she came out against ethanol! A true stroke of genius in her unvanished honesty. Now if she loses Iowa, the media can’t paint her a loser or washed-up!

Yes, I agree with you, that’s a wonderful photo and it’s just one of many. The security guard is genuinely smiling and we know that his opinion of her changed for the better no matter what it was, with their handshake.

She’s touring our national sites as a civilian with her family, because that’s what she is and the media just can’t get enough of her...LOL.

I hope they’re learning something about her goodness. I guess I will pray that they eventually will.

Great photos onyx. Doesn’t the National Park service fit their people for uniforms? Can’t those people have them tailored? Also, 2 have their smokey bear hats on and 2 don’t. The woman giving the briefing wears a men’s size 14 shoe.

I think this is one of the smartest moves she has made
so far, the American people can be thought of as a
kind of battery of freedom, the more one comes in
contact, personal contact, the more energy one
draws from polis, it will serve her in good stead
in the coming months and years as long as she doen’t
loose touch and become typically insulated as
politicians are want to do, especially when that
separation is helped along by the media who consider
themselves the gatekeepers of the process.

Run Sarah, RUN!

Now, now. No discrimination! Can’t put public employees on diets. Ever seen over weight police officers?

Your comments are inspiring! I wonder how many millions of others are seeing your way? Hopefully several millions!!!

She’s always several 1000 steps ahead of everyone else.

Comes straight from her good heart and love for our country that she deserves to lead and by God and all things sacred, we’ll work to see that she’s eloected so that she will lead our country and the Free World!

That old saying still holds true and if you’re from
Alaska you know what it means.

If you’re not the lead dog,
the scenery never changes.

What we must do is give her the tools to
roll back the insidious tendrils of socialism
that have crept into our government and way of life.
For too long the republicans have been content to
win elections and then rest on their laurals instead
of standing on the principles that got them into office
and removing those sleeper agents placed in the
apparatus of government by the opposition.
They certainly had no qualms about removing conservative office holders, right down to clerks and aides.
Don’t do the job half way this time, it only makes it
that much easier for them.

We must give her the tools, the House and Senate,
and the time, two terms, to bring about the
Constitutional restoration we so desperately need.

We cannot afford to see a second term of the current
administration in which the judiciary will become
the wrecking bar to all we believe in.

Can’t put public employees on diets.

It's just the opposite in the photos. The young lady to the right of the bell can't weigh more than 98 but she has unmeasured potato sacks on for pants.

May be if the MSM press could read they might get a clue for the next stop by reading Piper’s T-shirt?

That Piper is a hot ticket.

She’s got the look on her in every pic... Very protective/suspicious of anyone around her mom. Like a little mama grizzly. LOL!
