“Karl Rove, I respect. Krauthammer, I have a lot of respect for — he’s one of the thoughtful conservatives out there,” Cain told The Daily Caller. “My response is . . . I’m not running to become president of the establishment. I am running to become president of the people of the United States of America. [Rove and Krauthammer] will eventually wake up and realize that I am a serious candidate for the nomination.”

Pictures of Republican rivals line a wall at Cain’s campaign headquarters in Stockbridge, Ga.

Some, such as Huckabee and Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, have lines drawn through them marking them as potential candidates who opted not to run. Two former governors, Mitt Romney of Massachusetts and Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota, “tend to be much more risk-averse,” Cain tells the Post, while characterizing former House Speaker Newt Gingrich as someone whose “time has come and gone.”

>>WEATHER ALERT! Batten down the hatches boys! We be in for a HERMANCAIN!<<

The pure and strong wind of conservative convictions! Let it take with it the RINOs that Mr. Cain has so well identified.

Cain is praising Rove and Krauthammer?

And you’re telling me Cain is tea party?

Cain is an establishment politician. More conservative than Romney and Gingrich, but still an establishment politician.

Herman, become a governor first. Implement your ideas, show they work, then run for President.

Cain can’t do anything unless we control the states and the Congress. He can lead, but right now, there is nothing to lead. First, we need to get out of the Middle East unless we plan to win the war. General Sherman once said that “War is cruel. If you are crueler than your enemy, the war will be short.?” We have lost that attitude. We are going on ten years now with no end in sight and we support the enemy with our tax dollars.

Personally, we have reached the point where a decision has to be made. Either we take our country back........or........we give up in total. I’m getting tired of the BS and I want an end to it. Either we take our country back and return to what we once were or I’m done and will live out my life the best I can. God help our children.

What makes anyone think we have that much time?

The goal of the Tea Party is to get federal spending under control and reduce the size and overreach of the government - it isn't to get into flame wars with Karl Rove or Charles Krauthammer.

I suggest that you either read the article or/and work on your reading comprehension, but then anyone that knows you knows you are only here to put a knife it the back of a fellow conservatives.

“Karl Rove, I respect. Krauthammer, I have a lot of respect for....”

Well Mr. Cain, I sure as heck don’t.

I sure wish he hadn’t said that.

“Cain is praising Rove and Krauthammer?”

I wouldn’t put a lot of stock in his praise, considering he was responding to negative comments they made about him. Sounds like a kill them with kindness reply.

He also strikes me as someone who will give good quote, but his braggadocious nature means it all depends on his mood and how playful he’s feeling.

He was being polite. It’s okay to be polite when discussing people you disagree with.

You can have respect for a person and still not agree with them. I know I have respect for George Bush, but I sure as hell didn’t agree with him on everything he did.

Herman Cain is a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN

Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama isn't!
