Never let it be said that Herman Cain isnt serious about the US presidency. Hes crisscrossed the United States to meet and greet the grassroots, and most who hear him speak come away impressed. Not a Beltway insider, Cain doesnt just have to convince Americans on Main Street hes our best bet. Hes going to have to persuade some Old Guard Republicans.
It appears the OGR might want to take Cain more seriously. The man Karl Rove recently referred to as the talk radio guy in Atlanta is rising in the polls.
The Washington Examiner, analyzing a Gallup poll, said Cain is now virtually tied for third place among Republican contenders like former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas).
Cain hasnt let up on his efforts, as indicated in part by a new website.
Cain announced his candidacy on May 21 in Atlanta, after he gained momentum as a standout in the Fox News GOP presidential debate. His new website, hermancain.com, expands a previous site by detailing his positions on issues like the economy, national security and immigration among others.
What makes Cain unique is his honesty. After a muddled response on Fox News to Chris Wallaces question about right to return for Palestinians, Cain told Sean Hannity the question caught me off guard.
Wallace asked that question in the aftermath of President Barack Obamas large gaffe, downplayed by legacy media. Obama told Americans Israel should return to the 1967 borders. It didnt take long for...

Has Karl Rove ever worked in the private sector? Ever run a company? Has he accomplished even a tiny fraction of what Cain has accomplished?
Rover is over.
The two arguments against Cain thus far is 1) He has never been a politician, and 2) His response to Wallace’s question about ‘Right of Return’. I’ve seen possibly one other tonight, accusing him of corruption because of his 2 year stint with the Federal Reserve Bank. No, no meat, but just because he was WITH the Fed. This came from a Paultard so take it for what it’s worth.
I find Cain very interesting. At this point in time, I find him and Palin the two most interesting personalities on the GOP side. I’m very happy to have Cain in the race, and hope Palin enters as well. We have sufficient time for the primaries to play out and may the best person win, IMO. But these two, so far, get my attention.

If the vile little svartalf Rove dislikes someone, that is already a mark in their favor.
I think what we’re seeing in Cain’s campaign is an experienced executive running an operation using some weird thing called good management.
I would think that every week and month we will see progress being made towards building an organization and getting results out of it in a cost effective manner.
IMHO, Karl is a nice guy, loyal and smart. But I think such establishment types are going to have to adjust their formulas a bit as the years go on and “we the people” start actually participating in government.
I think the establishment just does not yet realize know how bad it smells to voters.
How in the world did we get to a place where Karl Rove believes he has the ability to tell the American public who is relevant? Who on earth does he think he is, anyway? I don’t care one whit what Karl Rove says.
It depends on what you consider “private sector”. If you count being a campaign consultant to be private sector, then, yes, he has. He started and runs his own campaign consultancy firm called Rove and Associates.
I took the time to read his book. Agree with him or not, he has a remarkable story in terms of the difficulties he’s faced and overcome in his life. He didn’t exactly have the best upbringing, and he busted tail hard to make it through college on his own. For that I have to give him at least grudging respect.
Why is Romney always on top? Does anyone know a conservative Romney fan?
Tokyo is getting ready to be rocked by a HermanCain.
Because the people who buy all the pols, pundits and airtime want him there.
"Does anyone know a conservative Romney fan?"
No..next question.
Rove proves once again he’s no rocket scientist.
born December 13, 1945 in Memphis, TN (Meets the Jus Soli Requirement)
Parents were
Luther Cain Jr., born March 16, 1925 in TN, died March 29, 1982 in Atlanta, GA
Lenora Davis, born July 27, 1925 in GA, died August 20, 2005 in Atlanta, GA
Both parents were US Citizens at the time of his birth (Meets the Jus Sanguinis Requirement)
Herman Cain is a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN unlike Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama.
Unlike Herman Cain, who literally is a rocket scientist.
Cain, as a mathematician for the Navy, helped develop guidance systems for ballistic missles--rockets.
Won’t it be nice to have a rocket scientist for president, who didn’t go to Harvard.
Tokyo Rove??
LOL!!
