That's pretty close to the truth, I think. Except I might suggest Obama's foreign policy is closer to that of Woodrow Wilson: fuzzy-headed internationalism in any area where the US has a vital national interest coupled with military adventurism in areas where we do not.

All the honor and integrity of Dick Nixon.
All the calming, tranquilizing domestic force of Abraham Lincoln.
All the interpersonal skills of Adolph Hitler.

One of the advantages of integrating the Democrat political operation into the White House is an ability to control not only the message, but to keep the messengers all reading from the same playbook - sometimes using implicit threats in the process. ("Want money for your re-election campaign? Then shut up and say what we tell you to.")
Also, because the mainstream news media is about 95% Democrat, they are given whatever access they desire (viz.- Good Morning America's near-weekly "exclusive" interviews with Obama about the new color of the Oval Office wallpaper or whatever). In that way, David Plouffe and Valerie Jarrett keep everyone and everything on message, without filters, and also provide the means for coordinated attacks on those who refuse to play along (FOX News).

I missed the beginning but FOX News interviewed some guy that is part of this and what struck me is the man said their focus is on his base voters because many of them have the misconception that his policies aren’t working and it is because of the “untruths” out there. Supposedly the focus is not on the “squishy middle” voter but his base. Seems the man was worried many that voted for Obama before would not vote for him again. Imagine that. I was surprised they would admit their base may not be so happy.
They’ve already spent tax money to hire lawyers to put Terry Lakin in jail and to tell the entire American public that the Constitution and rule of law are none of our da..ed business. Now they’re spending tax money to make sure that the small whisper each of us have compared to the megaphones of the complicit media has to be spent piddling with people who know they’re lying and just want to blow smoke everywhere to cloud the truth.
Could this administration do anything more to piss on the American people and destroy the American infrastructure?
I think every storm that this year sees should be called “Storm Obama”, because what tornadoes are doing to people’s houses.... is piddles compared to what Obama is doing to the fabric of this nation. Deliberately.

If the world falls into a “nobody can be trusted” mode Obama wins. Think the boy who cried wolf. When there is NOBODY who can be believed on a critical message because everybody has continuously lied, the person who wins is the wolf.
