If Bush would have done this, the MSM and Dems would have called for Impeachment investigations now!

I think John Boehner may have the power to do that. Maybe I'm wrong.

How did this Nitwit ever get in the white house?

His eligibility and the constitution were ignored. Why start worrying about the US Constitution now? We can't pick and choose what's important and what's not.

It's a slippery slop and we've been sliding for some time now.

Agreed.

To paraphrase Daniel Webster: When laws are not enforced, you have no laws.

Therefore, repeal the War Powers Act, starting the process on Monday, 23May2011.

I was waching TV the other day, and they were showing Boehner at a commencement. He was standing there, crying. IT was bizarre.

The GOP in the US COngress support Obama,
support his treason, support his attack on Israel,
support his help of al Qaeda and Ikhwan.

The GOP by their silence is complicit. Every single one.

“How did this Nitwit ever get in the white house?”

Because the in the tank idiot media did their best to get him elected.....and now they protect most of his gross incompetence. And this statement applies to the author of this article, Jake Tapper.

Strange. I always thought that bombing another country was an act of war, no matter how “limited”.

This A-Hole will sooner see this country unravel rather than be constrained by anything that would conflict with his narcissist ego.

If the Congress had any balls at al they would threaten impeachment - immediately.

But I’m fairly sure they won’t.

What an F’d up country this is becoming.

Thanks bobsunshine.
[Zero] wrote a letter to congressional leaders this afternoon suggesting that the role is now so "limited" he does not need to seek congressional approval. "Since April 4," the president wrote, "U.S. participation has consisted of: (1) non-kinetic support to the NATO-led operation, including intelligence, logistical support, and search and rescue assistance; (2) aircraft that have assisted in the suppression and destruction of air defenses in support of the no-fly zone; and (3) since April 23, precision strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles against a limited set of clearly defined targets in support of the NATO-led coalition's efforts."
So, it wasn't necessary because it was a "kinetic military action", and now it's not necessary because it's "non-kinetic"? Tell us, Zero, when do you think that it *is* necessary?

So let's say Cuba was doing the same thing to Miami and the Florida Keys would we consider that a war?

As tcrlaf notes, he’ll have full support from the partisan media shills.

And more importantly, no matter what, the entire body of black voters (present company excepted) will vote for him as a nearly-solid bloc.

And the DNC will work for him non-stop, no doubt about it. They work harder because Democrats were in the minority from Grover Cleveland until FDR, and they know it. And they’ve only managed to hang on to the House because of gerrymandering and vote fraud since then.

And no matter what, his previous constituency will stick with him for the most part, because A) they want no drilling, B) they believe the global warming B.S., C) they support abortion on demand, D) they want the gov’t to pay for their TV and radio agitprop and want our views to go undistributed, E) they want the 2nd Amendment repealed, the flag burned, taxes raised, and F) they are die-hards regarding their own political brand-consciousness.

The thing is, though, that Congress could force Obama to “Finish the job” in Libya by authorizing the use of ground troops and shock and awe tactics, and force him to arrest Gudaffi.

The scathing comments at the ABC News site are interesting. The fact that ABC ALLOWED those comments is fascinating!
