Enough bitching and moaning about how hard it is to be a white male. Life is good.
If Hollywood makes truly funny shows, like “Raymond” with the husband as the comedic foil, fine with me. We had “Lucy” and other shows for decades, so something relatively new is in order. Not every show should be “Father Knows Best”.
What does my comment have to do with being white or male? It has to do with Hollywood constantly making husbands and father figures look like idiots. Funny at times to be sure(see Homer Simpson) but might there be a motive for that? That was my point.
Btw I do enjoy the older brother, Robert, especially when he goes off on a tirade—which is often. :)
Oh Please...Raymond is nothing new.
We have not had a strong father role for more than 30 years to speak of.

Traditionalists like me complain it’s hard to watch the culture you grew up with dismantled and witness the destructive aftereffects and to try to stop your kids from being brainwashed.
My folks had to deal with very little of that in the media and schools like we do today all the time. Precious little out there beyond some churches that reflects traditional values....values that have guided western civilization and America for scores or generations...tossed aside to placate the dregs of our culture and their steady harp for redress.
