The White House is engaging in a “troubling” pattern of heavy-handed dealings with the press, media critics said after yesterday’s news that the Boston Herald was frozen out of full access to a presidential visit to its home city.
“It’s always troubling when you have the administration deciding what’s fair in the media or what is unfair because that clearly does create a situation where they are trying to select the coverage that they’re going to receive,” said Boston University College of Communication dean Tom Fiedler, who covered the White House as a reporter for the Miami Herald.

But Obama won’t have any of that with conservatives or even moderates who disagree with his failed policies...no sir.
And yet, they still drool at his feet.
So it was fine when he snubbed the American citizens he’s supposed to serve. It was even ‘fine’ when he snubbed those putting their lives on the line and serving in the military - but what’s really ‘troubling’ is when he snubs the MSM!!!!
Boston Herald had a 2010 circulation of over 124K. I guess Obama doesn’t care about those readers.
Not a lovers’ quarrel but part of a well-known, historically documented program to restrict the ability of certain news outlets to function properly.
It is known as the “Salami tactic” and was developed by Italian Communist strategist, Togliatti, and put into devastating effect by Ho Chi Minh when he systematicaly deciminated the “coalition government” (Lien Viet) in 1945-46. This included wiping out the Nationalists (Kuomingtang), the Trotskyite communists, Cao Dai, and smaller parties.
You eliminate your enemies one at a time, like slicing off a piece of salami from the whole one. Over time, you end up with a piece the size you want, and the rest is trashed.
Obama’s media/communications czars are communists and this is the culmination of their advice (It also follows the Saul Alinsky, Cloward-Piven and George Soros game plans). The attacks on Fox News, the “net neutrality” sham, the use of selective media asskissers to promote White House programs and propaganda, the hiring of flaks and hacks from the MSM, etc. are all part and parcel of this approach.
“Transparency”, a hallmark of Obama’s election campaign, turned out to be another lie, along with the scores of others he has racked up. If you don’t believe me, go to Time, Newsweek, NYT, WP and see if they have ever created a list of “tranparency promises” by topic (WH visitor logs, Signing Orders, off-site secret meetings not logged in, etc) that have been violated by Comrade Obama.
After you search for these “unicorns”, you will understand what I’m talking about.

Things must be bad for Obama since he has to worry about a visit to its home city, to take this kind of action against the press.
I mean - His home city!
When you visit your home city what could possibly go wrong that you don't want the press to report?
Again, a case where the medial ignored history even when history slapped them in the face. It was less than a decade ago that CNN admitted that they knew what was going inside Sadam’s Iraq but elected not to report it so they could maintain a presence in Iraq.
Isn't Obama’s actions very similar to Sadam’s?
Nixonian! The white house is in increasingly targeting unfavorable media either directly or through its minions like Media Matters. There is a distasteful pattern of attempted manipulation - from removing cameras at events, strong arming a reporter for negative comments about Michelle to a boycott of Fox. These leftists are playing hardball and the squeamish rinos better hit back twice as hard and not let these idiots shape the message!
