Every country in western Europe had NATO’s cover from the Russians for the last 65 years or so and Sweden was neutral. you didn't invade Russia just won the first battle of narva against Russia Denmark/Norway and Poland. Russia under a Czar is not quite like communist USSR and if the fat cat war profiteers didn't need a place to stash their booty where it couldn't be touched Sweden would have been a smoking hole long ago
