Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver, separated after she learned he had fathered a child more than a decade ago — before his first run for office — with a longtime member of their household staff.
Shriver moved out of the family's Brentwood mansion earlier this year, after Schwarzenegger acknowledged the paternity. The staff member worked for the family for 20 years, retiring in January.

It may have played a role but I think it was more because the voters, brainwashed by $100 million in union ads, turned on him in 2005. That's when he abandoned real reforms and brought Davis' chief of staff on board, moving left for survival.
If it had been known to Maria, would she have blocked his run for governor or chosen to continue the "storied" political history of her extended family?
If not for Arnold's candidacy, does Davis survive the recall? Who succeeds him in 2006?
How does something like this stay secret from both the political and hollywood press in modern times? That's the amazing element!
The L.A. Times certainly tried to tear him down on a personal level and lost subscribers because of it.
What an ugly and sad chapter for the families and the remaining sane Californians.

Sheesh, I am so tired of having to delete the stupid “You can see who looks at your profile!” spams that my stupid friends regularly click on and then show up on my page. I must have the dumbest friends.... And of course the “This girls Dad caught her dancing naked!” videos et al... There is no end to what they will click on. I have a rule tho. If they do it more than about twice I unfriend them, no matter who they are.

If he’s not Conservative, the Conservatives wouldn’t be the ones voting for him, the RINOs would. His record isn’t worse than Romneys. Is there gay marriage in California? There is in MA.
Remember the Nuñez pardon? You have to wonder just how many "favors" this guy did to try and keep this secret from getting out.
