“infringing on a woman’s right to choose”?

What? “The right to choose” to make an uninformed decision that will affect the rest of her life?

This “poll” is asking the wrong question and ^by design^ is advocating the tolerance of abortion as a virtue.

We shouldn’t provide this “poll” the dignity of a response.

They should be required to NOT HAVE an abortion. Murder is illegal. Enforce the existing murder laws. On doctors and on women committing these murders.

PROTECT THE UNBORN. They can’t protect themselves.

If I have to submit to a background check and pass a written and shooting test to legally carry a handgun (CHL)- a woman damn sure ought to get and view a sonogram before killing her baby.

The question should be , if the rest of us are coughing up the cash for the medical provided to a women, should they have to get one.
That’s the game the lefties love to play.
How about pay for your and your childs health care then make up your own damn mind.

If abortion is so benign to those on the left, they’ll have no problem with a law that requires all abortions to be reported in the local newspapers, right? Just like property default notices, name changes, fictitious business name filings and other notices. List the woman’s name and age, list the doctor and the name of the abortuary, list the reason given for aborting the baby (rape, incest, massive deformity of the fetus, or other), list the weight and apporoximate gestational age of the baby.

Of course, the lefties will freak out if legislation like that was ever introduced. But if it’s okay for women to kill their babies it should be okay for everyone to know who’s involved and why.

Oh, and list the name of the sperm donor if that’s known. Even if it means listing multiple names of possible donors.

The pro-abortion crowd has always depended heavily on the ignorance of pregnant women both of biology and the law. Since forever, they have spoken of the fetus as a “bunch of cells” or as “an inchoate mass” or even an “ undifferentiated tumor. “And, of course, to speak of the unbon child as a “fetus,”to use a Latin word that translates into Engllish as “child”or “offspring.” is part of the strategy. Judge John Noonan once
wrote a book facitiously speaking of the pregnant woman as “the gravitas”. This is the way propoganda works. As Talleyrand once wrote, with an ironic twist, the”purpose of language is to conceal meaning”

Poll is moving fast. 40% for and 57% against now. I think this is a good idea. Especially if it is the new GE 4D ultrasound that will really blow peoples minds.

They were testing one of these when our daughter was in the womb. Really cool item.

Wrong question. Should be:

“Should women be fully informed of their medical circumstances and condition before an abortion?”

or:

“Should medical information about her condition be withheld from a woman before an abortion?”.

Framing the issue is half of the fight. Conservatives typically concede that first half. Usually this is just lazy, and has no excuse.

Once she sees the baby, she'll know exactly what she's choosing. Whats wrong with making an informed choice?
Blindly believing the lefts propaganda has it's consequences. After the baby is dismembered, it's too late for her to change her mind.

Do you think doctors should be required to conduct a sonogram on a woman who wants an abortion?
Yes. Women should know exactly what they are getting into. 41%
No way. This is infringing upon a woman’s right to choose. 56%
I don’t know. 3%

No. This is "bits and pieces" politics at its worst.

Our Declaration of Independance clearly says that we have a "Right to Life . . ", so, there's no reason to not make ALL ABORTIONS PREMEDITATED MURDER ON THE PART OF THE ABORTIONIST, ANYONE WHO HELPS HIM MURDER THE BABY, AND THE "MOTHER" WHO PAYS THE BUTCHER TO MURDER HER BABY.

And, if I'm not mistaken, that's already in the books if any of the above are done . . . just switch the word "baby" with "fetus" and you've got murder on your hands.

This sonogram crap and ultrasound crap is just a toad's way to crawl to the central theme: the baby (born or unborn) is being murdered deliberately, premeditatedly, and with malice over 3000 times each and every day by animal butchers, "mother" included.

It's disgusting to think that abortions are considered anything else than premeditated murder.

Her right to choose what? How does she know what she's choosing unless she sees it?

People generally have the attitude expressed by the “Brady”character in “inherit the Wind,” He said: “I do not think about things I do not think about.” Not many women want to have to say, “Yes, it is a baby and yes, I want to kill it. “ Or’”My boy friend said to get rid of it!”

The central issue is that Harry Blackman, speaking for the “Ruling Class”in the United States, has said that the states cannot say that abortion is murder and a majority of the Court has stuck to this.

Yes they are and if 3D is used then from what I have read even at 8 weeks you can already see that it is a baby.

I don’t disagree with anything you said, but as a society we’ll need to get there in steps. Outlawing abortion in one fell swoop will cause a backlash by a significant percentage of the people. An incremental approach would be most effective in stopping this horrible practice. First outlaw the barbaric types of abortions, then all abortions past a certain date (detectable heartbeat is a good cutoff, in my opinion), then require that all abortion info be made public to shame the participants, then outlaw any abortions unless there’s a police report of rape or incest.

Of course, this is just off the top of my head and my mind is subject to being changed by better ideas and thoughtful arguments in opposition.
