Omaha, NE, May 5, 2011 (OperationRescue.org) — Thousands of shareholders who attended the annual stockholder’s meeting in Omaha, Nebraska, for Warren Buffett’s Berkshire-Hathaway Corporation on Saturday, April 30, were surprised to be greeted by the pro-life Truth Truck and a group of pro-life activists.
For almost fifty years, Warren Buffett has been one of the largest single benefactors of population control and abortion in the world, exceeded only by Microsoft’s Bill Gates, with whom he has in recent years joined forces. However, his connection to abortion is still not widely known.
It was rainy, cold and windy when the protest began at 5:30 AM in the morning, reported Operation Rescue (OR). Even at that early hour, there were already thousands standing in line awaiting admittance to the conference, with little else to do but watch the Truth Truck circle the venue and engage in occasional conversations with the pro-life activists holding signs on the street.
However, it was the Truth Truck that drew the most attention.
“As we made our way slowly through the heavy traffic, everywhere heads turned and cameras were busy taking pictures,” said Operation Rescue’s Truth Truck driver Larry Donlan. “While we attend this event almost every year, this was undoubtedly the most attention we have ever received.”
This attention was due to the new event-specific signs mounted on the Truth Truck. Billboard-sized banners displayed by the Truth Truck included Buffett’s picture next to graphic images of aborted babies, making the protest impossible to ignore. The signs were donated to Operation Rescue by a Berkshire-Hathaway shareholder who wanted to expose Buffett’s heavy involvement with abortion.
Operation Rescue reports that there were many interesting and constructive conversations between the pro-lifers and shareholders attending the conference.
“Perhaps the most notable,” said OR, “was a man who approached one of the pro-life women and told her that he was Catholic and had no idea of Buffett’s involvement with abortion. He said he intended to speak with Buffett about it and thanked her for making him aware of this issue.”
After the convention, the Buffett-owned Nebraska Furniture Mart hosted a picnic for Berkshire-Hathaway shareholders. The Truth Truck was also in attendance.
“Buffett pours millions of dollars into abortion organizations that focus on recruiting new abortionists and expanding abortion services. Because of the dedication of local activists and the generosity of a shareholder that is opposed to Buffet’s abortion agenda, this outreach was a huge success,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.
Buffett needs to be exposed for exactly what he is.

how could such an infamy go soft pedaled, nay choked silent, so long? it also seems stupid of buffett because killing off some of your potential customers can never be good business.
i wonder if gates stepped up abortion advocacy in recent years. it used to be he was pretty scrupulous not to leave his fingerprints on abortion, because he did not want to tar the microsoft business with such a reputation.

buffett may be guilty as sin, but without some verifiable specifics about the actual ties, it’s going to be difficult for the bearers of the bad news not to get dismissed as nuts.
Buffett is very rich because he was one of the first to discover how much money and tax avoidance an insurance company can generate. His personal life is a shambles, and this idiot savant preaches leftism, while paying a dozen $1200,00 dollar an hour Wall Street tax lawyers to make sure he shelters all of his money. America’s #1 hypocrite.
Expose him as you will. He is an evil man!!
I love the Truth Trucks and pray for the men (and women) that drive them. I would love to see every pro-death politician’s face (on these trucks!) right up next to the result of abortion, which is, of course, dead babies.
Did this “Truth Truck” provide specific facts of what Buffet does or has done in support of abortion or to promote an “abortion agenda”?
Every time this comes up, I try to set the record straight, but it looks like some here don;t like the facts.
Warren separated from his wife many years ago. However, being the smart man he was, he did not divorce her. He gave her all the money she could spend just so she would not upset the applecart. She moved to San Fransisco and funded a lot of left wing causes for many years. She died a few years ago and left the rest of her money to these same left wing causes. You are striking at the wrong Buffett.
Buffet could rebut this easily, could he not? I doubt he will.

(Note that this article was in the New York Times, so Buffett was certainly aware of it and would have demanded a retraction if he felt they misconstrued his position).
Moreover, Buffett has given BILLIONS MORE to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Gates foundation spends billions on population control world wide.
Say whatever you want, but Buffett's money is funding abortion.
If one wants allegations about Buffett to be believed, there should be some documentation about it. That’s not rocket science. This report leaves the viewer wondering “now exactly what is it that Buffett did?”

References? The Gates foundation strove to keep its nose clean from abortion. Bill Gates did not want Microsoft to be hurt by this inflammatory issue.

Still, it’s just wrong to pin blame for specific acts upon specific people with no documentation specific to those specific connections. Somehow Rockefeller’s wrongdoings are supposed to substantiate allegations about Buffett? I don’t give a hoot about Rockefeller’s wrongdoings in that context. Please could somebody spell out Buffett’s, and contributions to a Gates connected cause that has scrupulously avoided abortion funding (for the sake of Microsoft) hardly counts.
