doing it right now, They are trying to say it was obama, that he did not need to be pressured, .
One person a supposedly Christian is saying it was the Christian thing to do and that was to respect and honor Bin laden and God has a plan even when thousands died.

When asked if they honor and respect Hitler and Stalin they said it is obvious from their past answer

We are seriously screwed that we have so many dopey wishy washy idiots in this country

After all, they've known right where he was since last summer. Were they hoping to wait and spring this next summer, closer to election? We are dealing with very evil people. We must recognize that.)

If it is true that wikileaks was sniffing around OBL's whereabouts, and getting uncomfortably close, they may well have gone in now, rather than wait until it was more politically advantageous...

I did. Also gave him a link to an ABc News article saying that they have been looking for him since day one. He’s a koolaid drinker big time and an idiot IMO. ANYONE who thinks that the military waits daily for orders from the prez to go do something is stupid.

I think a lot of people realize that. And I think for a lot of others, it really isn’t going to matter that much in light of other issues.

We are one and a half YEARS away from Election Day. By then, Bin Laden is unlikely to be at the front of anybody’s mind.

The 2nd most beautiful thing about this entire situation is how many of TOTUS's positions have been invalidated by this action.

1. Unilateralism is bad, multilateralism is the only way to get things done.
2. Low level couriers and message carriers are insignificant to the War on... er, Man-man Natural Disasters and shouldn't considered valuable prisoners.
3. Information gleaned from "intense" interrogations can't be trusted. Corollary; the rendition program is damaging to the image of the United States and should be ended as no useful intelligence can come from it.

I will say this though, he did stand behind his environmental buddies. If you burn your trash in the back yard, expect a SEAL team soon...

Rush is on fire this morning. GWB put all the polices in place that allowed this killing to take place. Obama is taking credit for an operation that boy king condemned during his campaign - these were the GWB policies that boy king was going to put an end to. LEFTIES heads have to explode if they would stop and think what they are being ask to applaud - for boy king. IT is a great day for America but it is not Obama's policies that are being applauded - they are Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Ashcroft's

Nope. The only bounce was Osama’s corpse bouncing off the deck and into the deep blue sea.

And then it will bounce onto the ocean floor where it will be ravaged by various ocean predators. Eeeew.

I noticed your reply on the Tx message board, but looks like obozo got another dead cat bounce by doing this.

That was a thought I had immediately, with all the WikiLeaks stories right before it. But I don’t think that with all the planning set in motion so far in advance, that it was the short-term OBL WikiLeaks revelations that triggered it.

His numbers will bounce like a dead cat when summer gas prices hit home and the economy continues to tank.

And even if he does get a bounce...people STILL have to fill up their gas tanks this weekend.

Take EVERY opportunity to remind the guy standing next to you at the pump that FuBO put the Kibosh on any drilling here...and THAT is why prices are so high.

Take every opportunity to “community organize” and Agitate.

It’s right in their face when they’re pumping gas and paying out the arse.

I have not read any comments.

My local radio ABC station at the top of the hour (2:00 p.m. Central) was crowing with Ann Compton that this has indeed lifted BamBamKennedy’s approvals... Now if his campaign wing of the DNC the ‘jon stewart’ media, is out crowing about what a boost his poll numbers received tells me all I need to know about the timing of this take out.

This reminds me a little of the moon landing - a decade’s worth of work by administrations of different parties brings a desired result, finally.

I wish we didn’t have to discuss politics at a time like this.

But I remember the vicious partisanship that attacked Bush for terying to do the right thing, and I also just can’t believe that Obama understands, appreciates or loves America the way I think a president should.

So maybe I am now too much of a partisan myself. I don’t know.

A better indicator will be the polls that are taken after Osama prances around 9/11 ground zero in a few days.

Maybe he'll slip up and open with a couple of shout outs for Puffy and Jeremiah Wright.

You’re right about this not being the end of the war, but comparing our celebrations to the celebrations over 9/11 is absolute moral relativism. Bin Laden was an evil monster while the victims on 9/11 were innocent.

There will be some bounce in the polls, because the soft Obama supporters, or “HOPERS” (to coin a new term) will jump at anything to redeem themselves for their disastrous choice for president. Whatever the bounce is, it won’t last.

Exactly. It was also predicated on assets put in place long before he became president, which he criticized non-stop before he was sworn in.

In fact, the single largest clue they got, was retrieved from a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay. If he had his way, that person would have been set free years ago when the prison was closed down.

As I was listening to his remarks the other day, I was once again convicted that we’re dealing with a nine or ten year old’s intellect.

The idea this guy graduated at the top of his class is ludicrous, unless he was the only member of that graduating class.
