As we see the democrats and media slobber over credit for getting Osama I am struck by the recurring thought that not only did Obama vote against this war, but just a few eeks ago he and his henchmen were threatening to cut off military pay checks if the republicans didnt okay a budget extension.
According to the administration timeline Obama was considering this attack while threatening to stop military pay.

Realize that SEALs voluntarily subject themselves to conditions/training that is FAR worse than ever done to Gitmo detainees..
These Navy Seals who brought down UBL were part of a Very Elite Group of the Navy. They think only of their mission. They are true patriots, the bravest of the brave, the brightest and best of the best; so let's not put every little political circumstance we can find under a microscope.

Hey, DB. Our current C-in-C is the very embodiment of Robert E. Lee, “Blackjack” Pershing, Douglas MacArthur, Geroge S. Patton and “Chesty” Puller. Sterling leadership from the Oval Office is SOLELY responsible for this successful accomplishment of the mission.

I question the timing of all of this
Looks like Obama tried to time it during the royal wedding to take media coverage from the wedding he wasnt invited to ...but the weather ended up being a problem.

The truly awesome part is- even if the government had shut down and the military was not being paid, I firmly believe the military would still be doing their jobs, OBL would still be dead. That says volumes about our military.
I know there is an old saying about sleeping better in our beds because our military is doing their job so we can all sleep at night. I really feel that way.

Nobody doubts their honor and skills. They and their families are in our prayers every night, and without them we would be a lost nation.
It appears this is one thing Obama inherited from Bush that most seem to agree is a good thing.
