W.H. denies threat to S.F. paper

The White House is denying that it threatened to exclude the San Francisco Chronicle from presidential events in its coverage area after one of its reporters recorded a video of singing protesters at a fundraiser last week that was restricted to print reporters.

When a group of 10 protesters interrupted President Obama to demand the release of the WikiLeaks suspect Bradley Manning, it was only matter of hours until the first video surfaced online. The group, which calls itself the “Fresh Juice Party,” had recorded footage, most likely from a cell phone camera, shot from the vantage point of its breakfast table at the high-dollar fundraiser.

But Chronicle reporter Carla Marinucci also took her own video, which she posted online with her article after the event. Now, the paper’s editor, Ward Bushee, claims that the White House has threatened to exclude the publication from local coverage because Marinucci broke pool guidelines.

Nothing like a little intimidation.

Oh, Politico says the editor claims it happened. The Obama White House is pure as the wind-blown snow. Ya sure...

As soon as their internal polls show people aren't buying this, they'll say a staffer acted on his/her own, blah blah blah...

White House spokesman Josh Earnest told POLTICO on Friday that the Chronicle’s claims are “not true,” and that no such threat was ever made...

(We just made them an "offer"...)

Seriously, one wonders whether some enterprising journalists might (either as a group or individually) decide to write a book on WH "news" control and intimidation.

There are millions upon millions of dollars (and a clear conscience) just waiting for the first journalist to write a pre-election blockbuster on the depths Obama WH control of the levers of information dissemination.

“Threaten, intimidate, and lie.”

Try this instead:
Threaten, intimidate, then lie and deny.

No doubt Bush or Nixon would have gotten off so easy with that stunt. LOL.

This is what you asked for, you 40 plus percent that voted in this Marxist regime and you mentally challenged press corps that supported the overthrow of what has been the greatest country in the history of civilization.

Everything old is new again. There were well-sourced rumors in the mid-1990s that the Clinton Administration threatened to yank the WH press creds of any reporter (and that reporter's organization) that ran a story about Al Gore III getting busted for drugs on the grounds of the National Cathedral/St. Albans.

Sharon Stone's ex - Phil Bronstein was on the radio this A.M. and confirmed the report. Marinucci used to work for him and he still works for the Hearst Newspaper group.

Same old M.O.... discriminate against ‘em, threaten them if they tell anyone what you’ve done, then deny it all once they go public. Obamanoids are never, ever, responsible for their own actions.
