A town hall meeting held in Orlando by U.S. Rep. Dan Webster degenerated into bedlam Tuesday, with members of the crowd shouting down the freshman Republican congressman and yelling at one another.
It was the last of a series of town hall meetings Webster has hosted during Congress' spring recess, which ends Monday. While the others were civil and largely uneventful, the 300 people at Tuesday's meeting were so raucous they were scolded by a police officer to act "like grown people."
Webster tried to go over a series of charts showing growing levels of federal spending and debt, and the reason he supports the federal budget plan put forward by Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis. But he was interrupted at every turn by shouts from his critics, including members of progressive groups such as Moveon.org and Organize Now.
Boos and shouts of "liar" were mixed with angry accusations that Ryan's plan to change Medicare would leave those now under 55 without health insurance in their retirement, calls to eliminate the tax cuts first put in place by former President Bush and the need to raise corporate taxes rather than cut entitlement programs.

All those “tolerant” Socialists who belong to public employee unions are afraid they might actually have to get a real job.
Move On is a copy cat. (Ryan’s town hall too) They saw the Tea party and its effect. Dont want to be a Debbie Downer but Im seeing Civil War in the not so far off future.
So civil they are, the leftist statists.
The Progressive motto: “Don’t confuse me with the facts. My mind is made up.” This sounds like more of the cancerous agenda from friend Soros.
Perhaps, but it’s the Tea Party that has the firearms, not the Move On pu$$ie$.
I went to this today, and I concur. There is no potential to cohabit ate with these leaches. The actual sight of these recipient class welfare kings and queens begging for their crumbs was an unforgettable experience.
I think they are pissed off about the medicare portion of the bill more than anything else. They are saying that you get a lifetime 7 grand for medical under medicare and that is it. The rest is on your own dime. Now I am for cutting budgets of course but how is a person supposed to pay for a 100 thousand dollar operation for 7 grand.....insurance will not accept you over 65 which is why people go on medicare. All Ryan has to do is explain this a bit better and the town halls will go away.
Why isn’t the media as appalled and upset about these rent-a-mobs the unions and Move On.org are sending to shout down GOP Congressmen holding townhalls to discuss deficit cutting like they were about Tea Partiers protesting the Obamacareless proposals?? The media was so offended by that and how it was meant to “intimidate” our elected leaders, but when the Dems send goons to disrupt GOP townhalls the media clowns are just fine with it.
For the sake of the Republic there better be.
I’m expecting all hell to break loose mid to late July at the latest.
How is that a downer? Seriously, let’s settle this already.
I agree with the post except to say that the leisure class doesn't get "crumbs." They've been getting a five-course meal and sitting at the head of the table.
With what, nerf guns? Take a look at the electorate. What percentage do you think is up for a fight? No, if we can't solve our problems "civilly", they won't be solved.
Bill Clinton and the Civility cops are going to be all over this!

“Dont want to be a Debbie Downer but Im seeing Civil War in the not so far off future.”
I think that’s a given.
I'm okay with that. I think there are too many "other" people as it is.
This country is so screwed.
Oh...more ignorant/stupid people.....ooops...forgot to load that other magazine...
Reconciliation is out of the question. We either have a peaceful separation or all-out civil war. Since the lefties will scream like banshees at any separation, civil war is probably inevitable.
