Hint of Politics Creeps In To Rare Obama Church Appearance

This year the Obamas chose Shiloh Baptist Church — one of the oldest African-American congregations in the city, according to the White House — for their Easter service, drawing applause from members decked out in Sunday suits and fancy dresses.

The president declined the pastor’s invitation to speak, but a little bit of politics did slip in: the man who led the church in prayers, when mentioning the Obama family, said: “Lord, they’re going to need you for the next six year.”

Shouts of “Oh yeah” followed that intercession.

They’ve been told for the better part of a century that they have to stick together as a race, and there was a time when that was true. That time went away with the death of Jim Crow in the 1950s through the 1970s.

America is not post-racial. And it’s not white people keeping it that way. It’s the permanently aggrieved black leadership that keeps this attitude of “black > everything” in the minds of millions of black people. And the Halfrican is right out in front of it, riding the wave.

"For the life of me I just can't figure out why so many blacks still support Obama when the majority of the country doesn't."

Skin color trumps common sense. I have attended a church in Maryland that has a black pastor and a racially mixed congregation for the last 7 years. Although I find the vast majority of these people to be good and decent types; I guarantee you based on personal conversations with them that they voted for Obama and will continue you to do so no matter what he does or doesn't do.

"snorting cocaine and getting oral sex from a male."

That, and being a person of color got him accepted to Ivory League Schools. If it were his grades, OBAMA would have posted them years ago!!!

” For the life of me I just can’t figure out why so many blacks still support Obama ... “

Black people are far more religious than Whites and agree with them on most conservative issues - at least according to statistics in the Houston area. But they view BO as “more like them” and leave their conservative views inside the church walls. The media and Black leadership heaps more fuel on the fire.

I think he was still thinking about it....but he has risen to the occasion.

Obvious that he's going to have all these Reverend Wright's working for his re-election....one parish at a time.

Barry Soetoro needs to stop pimping his “black” half and start trying to act like an American. His “black” bull**** is all played out. The white boys at the DNC have used it up.

If this was a church that catered primarily to a whitey audience, and if it was someone like Sarah Palin who was in attendance, and something similar was said about her, there would be immediate calls for the revocation of said church’s tax exempt status from the usual suspects.

I am so sick of this lie. Whoever came up with this statistic is clearly smoking crack, especially when one looks at election results for the past what, 50 years? If blacks are "conservative" even on some issues, the election results sure as heck do not pan out that way.

Well, there seems to be one issue that trumps all others, and that is two words:

Free Money

I believe it was an Episcopal church in DC, or if not for Easter, he did attend there at some point after becoming president. His white side goes Episcopal, his black side goes Baptist. You can hardly get more opposite in theology and practice between these two faiths.

Same reason they let OJ off for murder. Slavery was legal about a century and a half past, so blacks cling to this notion that they are still the downtrodden race that must stick together against oppression from our racist society. If they will acquit a murderer, it’s no surprise they will vote for a liar and a muslim.

Because he is black.

"The'... nation against nation' mentioned by the LORD Jesus Christ in His Olivet Discourse [why not check out Matthew: 24-25; Mark: 13 &/or Luke: 17 & 21 for yourself?] is taken from the Greek word 'ethnos'. So Jesus said that one of the signs of the times of these last days will be: 'ethnos against ethnos'." Link

This "race vs. race" prophecy is being fomented by the race hustlers in their greed for money and power. But there's something deeper and more malevolent at work here. How a person can look at another person's ethnic makeup and either excuse their evil or hate them, for no other reason than the color of their skin, is the sign of a corrupted mind.

Wow, we're were told that if Zero and his family went to church every Sunday, it would cause major problems for the congregation and totally disrupt the services.

Guess Zero was wrong....again.

As long as the welfare checks, the food stamps, the housing subsidies, the transportation subsidies, the tax credits, the free medicaid health services, and such and such remain, they will never complain. They (Holder’s people) got it easy!

All in good time. When their usefulness proves to be insufficient, Obama/Holder will be the first ones to pass ammo for use on this bunch. Allies bought never stay bought.
