This is a basic problem with “democracy” the democrats get into power and contract out not only all the money at the time they spend all the money of future generations!
How are we suppose to fight an enemy that we thought we defeated? How are we suppose to defend ourselves from the burdensome demands of the dead?
The solution is to take away the power, by constitutional amendment, of their ability to spend future money. A balanced budget amendment to make sure they don’t use future money, and eliminate things like pensions (replace with 401K) in order to stop them from covertly indulging in creating future obligations.
