Obama ought to hot-foot it down there and investigate this gouging.

Suncoast Energys, located near the Orlando International Airport, was charging $5.69 a gallon for regular gasoline on Friday.
Way to gouge travelers rushing to turn in rental cars with full tanks so they can catch their flights.
To: Nachum
I just checked gasbuddy.com and the average price in Orlando is about $3.76.

I know that station. I’ve been stuck filling up a rental car there prior to returning it at the airport. I know to avoid it now.

This station was also in the news here not long ago.
It's around the corner from my office. It's been charging prices like this since it opened 7 or 8 years ago. I've been there once to buy gas. I put a dollar in and charged it. Enough to get me a mile up the road to another station that charges normal gouging prices :)
It's funny that this station and the new one across the street from it, that also charges outrageous prices, are fighting the new sign ordanance tooth and nail. Neither station currently has any signage that displays pricing.

If someone gets their gas near an airport than they deserve to pay higher costs. Everyone knows that the closer to an airport you are the more you pay. Funny that this is even news.

Isn’t Florida where the dear leader wants to build a train station and railroads. See where there is a ‘will’ there will be a ‘way’ for liberal trains. Wonder how soon before the tracks start getting laid.

If Obama’s so weak he can do nothing to lower oil prices like Bush did with one speech then he should allow the elderly who are on social security to be able to go to work without it taking anything away from their social security benefits. This would make more sense than forcing them to take out loans from the bank again this coming winter when it’s time to heat their homes.

many tourists use the station before returning rental cars on the way to the airport, without realizing how expensive the gas is until it's too late. There's the reason. He was probably the highest station in the nation before this and he'll be the highest station after, too. He has the nearest station and knows he can fleece the public.

I *think* this is kinda typical. As its historically the thing near Chicago's O'Hare airport.
And that was one of the first things we learned (that I did anyway):
- Never get gas near an airport, OR,
- At an Oasis on a Tollway.
You're basically a 'captive' so they can ask for your first born child.
