“Moses of the Latinos”
Does that mean he will lead them out of this land of exile back to their homelands?

I too am heartbroken by the tragedy of families being torn apart by deportation.
We should be deporting entire families at once in order to prevent this injustice!

Yet another liberal who wants the President, I mean: THE KING to “act independently.” To hell with our system, our constitution, our checks and balances. Incredible.

re: “”I call him the Moses of the Latinos because, as you see, he goes to the government continuously to ask, ‘Let my people go. . .”
That’s rich. That’s convoluted history as well. It was the Hebrews who WANTED to leave Egypt. It was the Egyptians who did not want them to leave.
In our case, we, the people of the U.S., WANT the illegals to LEAVE! Please go - We let you go! So, GO!
Gutierrez - Be the Moses! Lead them back to their various homelands. Please.

The law is not supposed to work for “Illegals”...
To: Altura Ct.
Well, good. Have the courage to keep the family together and go back to where you LEGALLY belong. And don’t let the door hit you on the bum on the way out.

he goes to the government continuously to ask, 'Let my people go. uh... that's the whole point of deportation...

Roughly 1,000 Latinos and immigrants packed into a church near uptown on Wednesday to hear from the Illinois congressman one supporter calls "Moses of the Latinos."
No one is stopping you from leaving. Please do so.

Gutierrez listened as people told stories of families broken up by deportation. ... "Mr. President ... Here in Charlotte we've heard testimony from people who are not criminals. From moms and dads of U.S.-born children. Deport the criminals, and let good, hard working people stay." Which basically means breaking up families by deporting the criminal teenaged sons of good, hardworking Latinos who ultimately get to stay?
Glad that's settled.

Once again I will ask the question: WHY is THIS the ONLY country in the world that is not allowed to protect its borders? If even MEXICO considers its security important enough to have closed borders, why does the world expect otherwise from US?

OK, we’ll be happy to let your people go without even the need for any plagues. We would even be willing to help part the waters of the Rio Grande long enough for you to lead your people back to their homeland if you like.

He also called on President Barack Obama to stop deportations of innocent people. BZZZZZZZZT!
Being here without proper immigration documents is a crime!
Innocent? Apparently not!
Thanks for playing!

Viridiana Martinez, 24, expressed the frustration of many illegal immigrants who say they're tired of the political rhetoric without seeing real reform. Martinez, who was one of seven undocumented students arrested this month in a Georgia protest, urged illegal immigrants to come out from the shadows and advocate for themselves, instead of waiting on politicians to speak. "We don't have to be at their mercy and wait for them to make the first move," she told the Observer. "The courage is in us, the directly affected. We need to demand the changes so that we're not living in fear and we can go to school."
A prime example of how ungrateful these people are. I told people for years we'd see their true color as soon as they thought they had the numbers. It's all about them, not a care of America or her true citizens. They don't care of the cost to us for their education and health care. What we're seeing now is just a tip of the iceberg. If these people receive amnesty, in ten years we'll have fifty million more illegals and in twenty this country will be no better than Mexico.
