Over my 45+ years in the business community, both domestic and international, I have dealt with an overwhelming variety of people of all races and political philosophies. Men and women who were thoroughly honest and many who had no concept of honor and integrity. Among them were those who would do or say anything to achieve their ends and do so with a straight face and an air of self-confidence that would deceive the most gullible. It is only through painful experience that one is finally able to develop an antenna to quickly weed out those charlatans.
While I have always been wary of and have written about his dishonesty, after the speech the president delivered the 13th of April regarding the federal budget, one that was chock full of lies, deceit, and crass fear-mongering, it must be said that Barack Obama is the most dishonest, deceitful, and mendacious person in a position of power I have ever witnessed.
That performance was the culmination of four years of outright lies and narcissism that have been largely ignored by the media, including some in the conservative press and political class who are loath to call Mr. Obama what he is in the bluntest of terms: a liar and a fraud. That he relies on his skin color to intimidate, either outright or by insinuation, those who oppose his radical agenda only adds to his audacity. It is apparent that he has gotten away with his character flaws his entire life, aided and abetted by the sycophants around him, thus he is who he is and cannot change.

Please consider reading the entire article. Unless your mind is totally locked, you may begin to see what conservatives have seen from the beginning. Barry is not just your typical political liar. He is a sick, royally screwed up pathological liar.
The inability of so many people to discern that is thanks entirely to modern liberalism and its brain-destroying embrace of ‘moral equivalence’. ME robs human beings of even the vestiges of critical rational thinking skills, and substitutes a narrow, scarily-blind worldview in their place. Thus devotees of modern liberalism see Barry’s lies, and shrug and say, ‘they all do it’ - while never grasping the issue of kind and degree.
Sure, all pols lie. But only a tiny percentage lie to the mind-staggering, pathological degree Barry does. He’s in a category all his own. Not even Bill Clinton can compete. For anyone with any intimate experience of either sociopathy or pathological lying, Barry sends chills down the spine. He is a sick, sick, SICK man. In a sane world, even liberals [of which I used to be one] would want him as far from the Oval Office as they could get him. In a world dominated by modern liberalism, he’s allowed to continue gaily down his path of permanently destroying the USA.
I hope this makes sense to you, curiosity. It sounds so sophisticated and insightful to say, ‘sure, Obama lies, but so do they all; no big’. It *seems* so racist to say Barry’s lies make all the rest look like pikers. But we’ve got a massive problem on our hands, and we’ve got to get past Barry’s skin color in order to solve it. It would be nice to have you on board, instead of constantly running interference for The Won.
Mr. McCann is spot on. There is definitely something to having experience with people like Barack Obama that helps one spot the special evil that they live. Obama exudes it in his every word and action. As McCann writes, it's who Obama is and he can't change (apart from divine intervention).
I would, however, classify Obama not as a sociopath or a compulsive liar. I believe he lies both as a means of getting what he wants AND as habit because it's easier. I see that lying as a telltale sign of pathological narcissism. He lies to get his way and because its easiest. It's the way his mind works; when it comes to answering a question, he unconsciously contemplates how to construct a believable lie. It's a knee-jerk thing that seems entirely natural to him. And, he's good at it, except that he's just human like the rest of us so sometimes his lies contradict fact. That's where the race card (the Poor Abandoned Barry card when he was a kid) comes in. It's truly fascinating to watch, or rather it would be if our country wasn't being destroyed by it.

Actually, I disagree. Bill Clinton was the most dishonest, but his dishonesty was petty and sleazy. Obama is pure evil and displays a great deal of far more destructive dishonesty than we saw from Clinton, but he's not quite as uniformly dishonest and deceitful.

I'm a conservative and no fan of Obama.
However, like Glen Beck, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, Charles Krauthammer, and virtually every other nationally-recognized conservative figure, I don't have much patience for nonsensical and manifestly false conspiracy theories, such as Birthism.
Part of being a conservative is accepting the world for what it is, not for what I would wish it to be. Do I wish Obama was ineligible for the presidency? Sure, that would be great, then we could remove him without the bother of having to defeat him in the next election. Unfortunatley, that's just not reality.
The reality, whether you choose to accept it or not, is this: Obama, having been born in Hawaii under US jurisdicition, is manifestly eligible for the office he occupies, to which he was elected in a legal, free and fair election. The only way to get rid of him is the hard way: defeat him at the ballot box next year.
Instead of tilting at windmills and grasping at conspiracy theories that will never achieve our shared goal of ending the presidency of Obama, I suggest you get to work in the effort to unseat him next year.

Your interpretation seems to match the qualifications from the Fourteenth Amendment, which was simply a declaration of who constituted a "citizen of the United States".

If you think about why the Founders would care, it might occur to you that they would care if a person had a non-citizen parent. Being a candidate for President is not an entitlement and is not a right of all citizens.

If they had cared, they would have used different language, as the common law definition of "natural born citizen" at the time simply meant (and continues to mean) citizen at birth, which includes people born on US soil to alien parents living under US jurisdiction in amity with the US government.

No. Some of the most patriotic people I have known did not have US citizen parents.

No, that's not a fact. There is nothing dubious about the images, and statements from Fukino were explicit, not massaged, clearly stating, in no uncertain terms, that Obama was born in Hawaii. In addition to that, we have the corroborating and verifiable evidence of the birth announcements.
