Yesterday, in the wake of stories about military families not receiving full pay, House Republicans had the right response. They passed a stopgap continuing resolution to guarantee military spending and pay. The bill passed by a 247-181 vote. That's right, 181 members -- mostly Dems, but also Rep. Michele Bachmann and five other Repubs -- voted to deprive the military of paychecks.
For his part, Obama pledged to veto the measure . . .
