Mulligans and special rules? The “president” is playing the girl among men. And I’m not trying to be mean. He is. No man who is a Man would want to be out there under such conditions. ESPECIALLY if he considered himself a golfer.

Yes, were fighting three kinetic military actions. Yes, the government might shut down on Saturday. Yes, gas prices are rocketing. Yes, filming Jersey Shore in Italy has been delayed a month. The President is fully aware of all these issues, and believe me, he is so brilliant at multi-tasking, Im confident that despite all this thats going on, hell still maintain a cool, collected attitude and will not be deterred from going for the green in two on hole 13. You guys are making too big a deal out of this. Just take it easy, okay?Speaks volumes...

The Masters is the least of the 4 majors because it’s the only one a golfer can design his game around.

This must be an original post from somewhere on the web on April 1. 2011 - it has got to be satire.
To: hattend
it was the “gimme” that got me. if they were going for ratings, they’d want to have close ups and instant replays for every missed putt.

“its the only one a golfer can design his game around.”
True, and Woods has done just that.
Which is why I think he will win it.

with people having to wait until someone dies to advance on the waiting list for a master’s ticket, the boycott is just hot air. Not going to happen. Disclaimer - I find golf a lot less interesting than drying paint, so I don’t understand the fan base at all, but nevertheless, I know that people have waitied decades to get a masters ticket.

I hope this is satire. I have tickets for Sunday and don’t want it spoiled by a showboating zero.

The thing that first caught my eye in the former thread title (which has since been changed) was the call for a boycott of Masters’ sponsors. It is my understanding that the Masters has no sponsors. And I couldn’t imagine Augusta National ever caving in to any type of political pressure.

Woods has lost control of the mental game, so I don’t see him winning. One of the young guns, I think, perhaps.

Tiger looked a little more like Tiger on Friday. Maybe he can put his 7-iron wielding ex-wife in the rear view mirror, so to speak.

I’m not really a Tiger fan but everyone who likes golf realizes Woods attracts a level of interest that nobody else does. In that sense he’s good for golf.
Im sure that most women here will tell us what a pig he is and that’s true enough. But on sheer ability and accomplishment, what can you say? Woods is still the standard that the rest of the guys measure themselves against.

If your private life is a mess, because your mind ain’t right, how wouls you expect your work life to be better?
Woods shat in his drinking water, his life is a good lesson to those coming up.
