Mideast: Mohamed ElBaradei, Nobel Peace Prize winner and Egyptian presidential candidate, says if Israel attacks Gaza, Egypt would declare war. The U.N. nuclear peacenik takes the "blessed are the warmongers" approach.
If you thought the peace prize was a joke after it was given on spec to a new U.S. president in 2009, consider how ElBaradei, former chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency, is living up to his 2005 prize. That was the one awarded because of his unceasing attacks on the Bush administration after the U.S. ousted would-be nuclear terrorist Saddam Hussein.
"If Israel attacked Gaza, we would declare war against the Zionist regime," ElBaradei told an Arabic newspaper Monday. Could this saber-rattler be the sophisticated fixture on the Vienna social scene who for so many years was so beloved of Europe's diplomatic class? Could it be the next president of Egypt, this time elected in a truly democratic (or so we are assured) election?
Enlightened and Europeanized democrats aren't supposed to threaten war against neighboring states. Maybe the journalist quoting him got it mixed up, and it was really Egypt's just-ousted dictator Hosni Mubarak who threatened violence.

The Nobel peace prize doesn’t mean anything. Just look at the kinds of people who have won it. lol
Obamma thinks the road to peace in the middle east is to remove a certain country and people.
Another ElBaradei thread here:

Man of peace, religion of peace. Go figure.
Does anybody expect anything less of a Nobel Piss Prize winner? Who will they bestow this coveted award to next; Castro (as lifetime achievement award)? Ahmadinejad? Oh, how about Colonel Muammar Gaddafi? Yes, the list gets longer each year. Who to root for????
Then it will all reconcile within an afternoon.
On WHOM?
Have they REALLY forgotten that they got their ass handed to them the last time they went against Israel?
Exodus 1:8
Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who knew not Joseph...
Ping me when they’re surrounded by armies.
LOL....2011 could go down as the first year in history with two wars started by Nobel Peace Prize winners.
It has long been my opinion that when (not if) Iran gets its nukes, they should erect a statue of El-Baradei in some prominent location. After all, he ran cover for them for years as head of the IAEA.
I believe Arafat was a proud recipient.
Looks like ElBaradei is going to take Obama's R2P doctrine out for a spin maybe even get him another Nobel Prize.
I wouldn't worry about ElBaradei very much if elected he'll only last a few months.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

Yeah, .....but our President has still launched more cruise missiles than any other Nobel Peace Prize winner! See if ElBaracho can beat that!
More proof that the Nobel prize is a joke.
