The TEA Party needs to find candidates to run against ALL non-leftists, from both political parties, and this includes places like Massachusetts. Fighting for the political principles that you really believe in is very important, even for conservatives in the most leftist of states. Let Senator Brown have to explain about all of his votes that go against the wishes of conservative voters/supporters.

That is indeed the test that eliminates the frauds.
Brown is the Democrat of yore.
Sadly, it’s all a game to them .. to acquire more power and influence. For the rest of us.... it is a bread on the table issue... survival of our families.
Yes it is responsible to cut less then 5% of the amount we are spending more then we take in..
So, you prefer Harry Reid?
Just askin...
Not me.....we must take the Senate
It’s not surprising.
I don’t think he will switch to the ‘rats, who will more than likely be in the Senate minority next year.
But, he will be a thorn in our sides for many years to come.
I don’t know why folks didn’t see this coming. He’s from Massachusetts, for goodness sakes!
>>What will Brown and his Democrat pals do when there is no money left for seniors?
Print more of it. At least until the currency collapse.
I just signed a national petition which is free
demanding our Senate get serious about cutting federal
spending, or pack up and go home, and Im asking you to
add your name as well. These petitions will be hand delivered on this Tuesday.

And this is where we get down to the same old argument that has raged on Free Republic since the beginning. I am confident that if McCain was President our economy would still be in a mess (but maybe not as bad), the government would still be bigger than when he took office (but maybe not as big as it is now) and our foreign policy would still be dysfunctional (but maybe not the laughingstock it currently is).
The difference is that the mess would be 100% the Republicans fault instead of the Democrats fault. This is why the GOP is the Stupid Party. We give power to weak, squishy Republicans and they make us all look bad.
Electing political good ole boys who won't crusade for conservatism just because they have an (R) is no victory. They will appoint ubberRINO leaders and pass ubberRINO legislation. You want McConnell in charge? You own him. And you'll own every weak, grovelling, limp, squat-to-pee compromise like the amazing magical 1% in cuts budget that's about to come oozing out of the Senate. Good luck with that.
Contribute to the candidates you favor directly. Do not give a dime to any Republican Party committees after the job they did against conservatives in Delaware and Alaska last year.
Well, let that be a lesson to you. Next time do a little research before jumping into bed with a RINO.
To me, this is one of those "which came first? the chicken or the egg?" type things.
My memory may be playing tricks on me but it seems like The Tea Party went all in with Scott Brown even though there were people pointing out that he was, at best, a RINO, at worst, a flaming Libturd.
I never said I liked McConnell running things, but he is not the Majority Leader now is he? He is the MINORITY Leader, which makes him even more useless than he already is.
I would love to see a Senate full of Demint’s, Paul's and Sessions’, but that will take some time if it ever happens at all. I am a realist, so I understand you have to walk before you can run.
As my Father once told me, People in Hell want Ice Water. At this point in time living in the Obamanation, any Republican will do as long as we get to 51 plus.
To be frank, my biggest concern regarding the Senate is the next SCOTUS Appointment. If any of our guys need to be replaced while Obama is President and Harry Reid runs the Senate, the Country is over.
See my tagline....and I’m not talking about the republican party being a “second” party. The dems and rino majority are the same. I’ll never again hold my nose and vote for a rino.
No, you're an idiot who thinks that we should keep doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result.
At this point in time living in the Obamanation, any Republican will do as long as we get to 51 plus.
So you will back hard-core statists, nanny-staters, and fascists as long as they are members of the Republican Party?
What if Obama joins the Republican Party tomorrow?
Will you support him then?
If any of our guys
You forget that you are on a libertarian conservative forum, not the Republican equivalent of Jonestown. Statist poodles like Kirk, McCain, Lugar, Hatch, Brown, Snowe, Romney, Huckabee, and Collins are not "our guys," and I, for one, refuse to drink the Kool-Aid that you GOP hacks keep putting out for conservatives.
In a perfect world, all of us at FR would hope that the majority of people would have Conservative viewpoints and vote accordingly. Unfortunately that is not the case.
It's not that I don't agree with some of your viewpoints, it's just that wishing things turn out a certain way does not make the Electorate go out and vote that way.
We express our views, we do our best to convince others of our rationale and then we hope they see the light. Because I hope for 100 Demint’s in the Senate does not make it a reality.
Now, let me be clear. Unless your reply includes an apology for your personal attack on me, don't bother. We are here to discuss issues, not to use Liberal tactics against each other. Good day...
I went to WALMART a couple weeks to stock up on light bulbs and was thinking of the Bush-Pelosi energy bill that outlaws them in 2012 and 2013. I was reminded that Republicans in congress would NOT have voted to ban light bulbs if a Democrat was president, like they did when Bush was 2007. Same for TARP. Yes, I am still glad McCain is NOT president.
Rubio was on FNS and says he will vote against the debt extension because we are going broke(true), but then said he wants a Senate resolution calling for authorizing Obama's move to join in military action in Libya, and to capture Gadhafi. The two dont go together and will not play together politically(unless someone else pays for it.). This is how you get independents to join Democrats on spending cuts.
