I heard Jerry Brown on the radio today talking about water. We have had an more than average amount of rain in California this year. He said just because we have plenty of rain this year doesn't mean we still shouldn't conserve water for the future.

Californians shouldn't freak out. We can begin by closing the state colleges, the state prisons and the state hospitals. That will give us a fresh start. Believe me, it will not take long to find new college students, new prisoners and new patients for state hospitals.

But, we need to start from scratch.
