Anthony Weiner: Waiver might work for New York

Rep. Anthony Weiner said Wednesday he was looking into how a health law waiver might work for New York City.

Weiner, who is likely to run for mayor of New York, said that because of the city’s special health care infrastructure, his office was looking into alternatives that might make more sense. Weiner is one of the health care law’s biggest supporters; during the debate leading up to reform, he was one of the last holdouts in Congress for the public option.

What temerity.

These people are absolutely shameless - he crams it down everyone's throat, then looks to get a waiver for his own home city.

“Anthony Weiner, who is likely to run for mayor of New York...”

Apparently NYC is in competition with Chicago to elect the biggest A$$hole.

The ones who are “unreal” are those who still worship obama. Apparently they are truly brain dead or stupid. How they can continue to defend obamacare with all these waivers AND congress and congressmen’s hometowns being exempt.

Peter King sure is patient. If I was standing next to Weiner doing an interview and he kept yelling over me I’d push him off camera then watch his head explode. If it didn’t explode I’d bitch slap him.

Great, exemptations for everyone who supported it.

Weiner? He’s the Wurst!
If he weren’t such a weenie, he would have run against Bloomberg last time, & would have beaten him. Bloomberg didnt win by very much.
IMO Weiner’s chance has come & gone.
With a Muslim wife whose mother wears a burka, he has zero chance in NYC.

Outrageous. Even for the liberals this hypocrisy is astounding; astounding and infuriating.

NEWS: Weiner on White House Health Care Plan

“I am Glad That the President Has Put His Finger On the Scale at Long Last – But Who is He Negotiating With?”

“This is a 51 Vote Senate Plan, Not 60– That’s Great News”

Washington, DC - Representative Anthony Weiner released the following statement on the release of the White House health care plan:

“I am glad the President has put his finger on the scale at long last. For months I have been saying that the American people need to hear directly from the President what he believes and wants from health care reform.”

“While I’m pleased to see some of the maladies of the weaker Senate bill addressed, this plan still doesn’t include a public option and opts for a weaker state-by-state exchange. These two provisions are the most effective ways to control costs and provide choice and competition.”

“These concessions to Republicans are in the hopes of winning their support. This will simply not happen. We need to stop bargaining against ourselves. Who are we making concessions to? Republicans have shown over and over again that they have no interest in real reform. They are the Party of No and the status quo.”

“But to be clear, this bill is a 51 vote plan and not a 60 vote plan – that is great news. Democrats wasted a year bowing to the altar of Olympia Snowe, Joe Lieberman and Ben Nelson and it got us nowhere.”

Notice how the libs are trying to rename it “the health care law”, rather than ObamaCare?

I still say Boehner has a winning issue here.

The Republicans should introduce a bill saying that WAIVERS WILL BE GIVEN TO ANYONE WHO ASKS FOR ONE.

Great, exemptations for everyone who supported it.

That was my first thought. It seems that everyone who supported it, are getting waivers. And those who opposed it are having it jammed down their throats.

Are the pitchforks and torches ready to go, yet?
