Surely the state of affairs has improved since the days of Bonnie and Clyde... hasn’t it?

To call that rat-face our “top cop” is like calling Qaddafi the Chairman of the U.N. Council on Human Rights. [Oh, wait, he actually did hold that position...]

Anyone with a milligram of sense would take a look at the areas where police die more in on-the-job incidents, and compare them with the prevalence of private carry in those places. Almost invariably, more guns means less crime, this crime too. Armed citizens actually cut the risk to police, because malefactors will look for more vulnerable places to ply their trade, if they do not get Darwin awards first.

After a two-year decline in law enforcement deaths, that number "spiked" last year, with 20 officers killed by guns or assault in the first three months alone, according to Holder. In the same time period this year, 27 officers have been killed by guns or assault, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Jaime Zapata in Mexico...

So obviously Steadman is going to enforce the security on the Mexican border as part of this crack down?

Oh no, to send reinforcements to the known trouble spots would make far, far too much sense. Must pretend this stuff is equally likely to pop up anywhere you throw a dart at a map of the USA.

Something tells me Steadmans map is comprised of strictly red states.

Attorney General Eric Holder said nothing is "off the table," including an Obama administration push for Congress to approve new legislation.

Holder's "my people" are the ones doing the killing. I'll bet dealing with the actual culprits is "off the table".

Steadman has never been a champion of Police officers.

It’s a feign to cover his “fast and furious” debacle

Here comes the gun control. Americans will bend over and take it.

Why do I suspect that pumping up support for more gun control legislation is what all of this is really all about?

Just because the saps in N.Y. have surrendered their 2nd amendment doesn’t mean they are willing in fly over country.

Attorney General Eric Holder said nothing is "off the table,"

Since the the "American 'assault weapons' cause all of the Mexican violence" meme isn't working to help Obama, Holder, et al to further infringe on our 2nd Amendment rights, then "it's for the PO-lice" (similar to the leftists "it's for the CHILDREN" B.S.) mantra from a long-time gun-grabbing playbook is just the latest LIE put forth to bring back more Draconian gun CONTROL.
