One World Government Obama
The American Spectator ^ | March 22, 2011 | Ben Stein

Posted on 03/22/2011 6:40:17 AM PDT by opentalk

Maybe I missed something, but wasn't that The Constitution of the United States of America that we just laid to rest this weekend?

It was buried in a private ceremony by Mr. Barack Obama of Chicago as he silently signed America on to the One World Government some of us have been worried about for decades.

Look at it this way: Where did Mr. Obama get the authority to commit United States forces to war in Libya?

There was no declaration of war. There was no authorizing resolution by Congress allowing money to be spent on a war against Col. Gaddafi. As far as I know, there was no meeting of Mr. Obama and top leaders of Congress to discuss the subject in even rough form, let alone detail. There was no lengthy buildup in which the Congress was "allowed" to express the people's opinion on whether we want to be in a third concurrent war.

There was just a vote by the United Nations Security Council, a very far from unanimous vote, and suddenly, the President's Secretary of State, Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton, solemnly announced that we were at war.

Of course. This is his goal. How obvious could it be? It must be what the republicans want also considering how much of a fight they are putting up to stop him.

I agree. Does anyone feel the press/media are trying really hard to sell Obama right now but they look (physically) like they are coming to a realization of what Obama is. These are interesting times and I hope and pray the people of the United States start to stand up NOW. Im so scared for my children.

I feel like I maybe rambling but I am just a mess right now with what is going on and I need to vent. making sense or no sense!!!

Why would you expect adherence to the Constitution from a President that isn’t Constitutionally eligible to hold office?

He needs to be impeached over this.

The spending has to be approved by Congress, not the UN.

We will fundamentally change the way America operates.

And the oatmealbrained rent-a-crowd roared

We were inundated with pro zero propaganda, mmm mmm mmm, and those of us that said, "No ... you aren't thinking ... you're not seeing ... " were forced to watch the invasion of what had become a somewhat weakened republic.

So now I'm pissed, and say just enough to keep from being banned and/or arrested, but really wish something would break out ...

VALKYRIE !!

I’m learning as I watch this unfold. This must be how a republic slips into tyranny. The media, and the elites all quietly approve, and the sheeple are kept busy with bread, (malls), and circuses, (cell phones and reality tv).

Big time. His very presence in the office is questionable and his handlers/press just keep on keeping on as if there is no question. obama has never settled the eligibility issue and he is still allowed to be the acting president.
Add to that his actions are more in line with an African dictator who uses his country’s assets as his personal playthings.

The silence from Republican leaders is disturbing.

It must be what the republicans want also

You betcha.

The mission of the RNC is to keep the rubes in line. For this reason, it has been occasionally in their interest to slow the process, hence they seem to "oppose" when their position really comes down to a question of pace.

We cannot let this behavior stand, he must be impeached!!!

By whom?

How many Members of Congress really oppose ceding America's sovereignty to transnational organizations? 20? 30?

And how many Senators? More than 5?

Mr. Stein needs a refresher course on how fascism works.
