PORTSMOUTH — A nuclear inspector who tried to take a photo up a woman’s dress while she was shopping in Walmart was fined, given a suspended jail sentence and ordered to undergo a sex offender evaluation.

This reminds me of the true story from the 1950s, when Winston Churchill was well into his dotage. He was asked to comment on a recent news story where an 80-year old man was caught trying to hit on a teenage girl. ChurchiLl replied, “there’s still hope for English manhood.”
