Good to hear you’re on high ground. I hope the menfolk are able to get supplies without too much trouble. I imagine EVERYone has the same idea right now.

Stay safe! Y’all are added to my prayers.

Hawaii FReepers.

If you are unsure of your elevation, here is a site where you can check.

Simply zoom out to find your island and general location. Move one of the red flags to your general location. Your lon and lat, as well as your elevation, will be automatically updated.

It just sank in........we’re talking about two different places. LOL!

I was fretting about people being asleep in Hawaii (not realizing how early it still is there) and you were talking about Japan.

:-)

She is driving me crazy. She has now said at least 5 times that the Japanese people are used to earthquakes.

Well, I’m on the Ewa Plain at 32 feet. I thought I was at 20 feet, but relieved to find I’m on higher ground.

I don’t have a car!! Been trying to get my friends on the phone, but they rarely answer at night.

I can evacuate to Wahiawa Hospital. DOUBLE TIME AND A HALF if Gov Ibacommie issues a state of emergency.

I’m packed and ready to go!

Aloha Starwise,

Been following this for the last hour and about 5 minutes ago, the tsunami watch was upgraded to a tsunami warning. Estimated time of arrival at 0339 in Hilo.

Waiting for news from Guam and Midway to get a sense of the threat.
