(AP) MEXICO CITY (AP) — Legislators from all of Mexico's three major parties in congress are calling for a joint U.S.-Mexico working group to examine accusations that U.S. federal agents allowed hundreds of guns to flow into Mexico.

Congressman Humberto Trevino estimated Tuesday that 150 shooting injuries or deaths have been linked to guns that were allowed to proceed into Mexico as part of a U.S. effort to build cases against traffickers...

This really has the potential to be a true cause celeb. How much of this activity was actually a disguised gun running operation run from within BATF. How much money have certain high ranking BATF bureaucrats pocketed in a classic false flag operation. Why is this incredible. We know narcotics officers have ‘seized’ large quantities of drugs in order to resell them or to raid drug traffickers who were moving in on the turf of other traffickers who had the narcs in their pocket. Why might this be any different?

examine accusations that U.S. federal agents allowed hundreds of guns to flow into Mexico

They should also look into accusations that Mexico is encouraging illegal immigration into the U.S., including felons who then come into this country and commit serious crimes.

Now we know why all those serial numbers that Obama was making such a splash about ended up in Mexico.

Will Mexico demand compensation? You betcha!

Granted, Mexican issues and US drug issues started long ago... but if we can solve any problems at all, anywhere, with our world class resources, why is the Mexican border still a problem?

Either the feds are incompetent and irresolute or they are dirty.

We faced down Pancho Villa around the turn of the century. Hell, turn the Texas Rangers loose; they’d be more effective than this insane clown posse.

Obama is doing exactly what he wants to do. He wants "comprehensive immigration reform" and until he gets it he is going to let the pot boil on the border. Maybe he is even helping it a little.

Yup. You can’t overthrow the status quo quite yet without an influx of new federal tittiebabies and attendant disruption.

Frankly, I hope Mexico has better luck calling our government to account than we do.

Who would have thought that Mexico would actually have a basis to demand our government come clean? Unfortunately it looks like they do here.

Short of the federal government starting massive arrests of Conservatives in this nation, I am convinced our government is rotten to the core.

I have no faith in our government right now, whatsoever.

“They should also look into accusations that Mexico is encouraging illegal immigration into the U.S., including felons who then come into this country and commit serious crimes.”

Yes...they should, but they won’t.

What I don’t get is why anyone would think that this story would illicit sympathy for illegals.

It won’t...and, in fact, will do the opposite.

Well, yes. Mexico welcomes the dollars that many of their citizens send back, but they gripe because they don’t like other parts of our American culture (guns) that come their way.

If every southbound Mexican national was carrying a gun while going home for vacation or whatever, just think about the cow the Mexican authorities would have.

Yeah, I know that’s not practical for many reasons, but the thought that we need to modify our American culture and traditions to accommodate these invaders is ridiculous.

Don’t like our culture? Then keep your people out of our country.

Oh, and yes I did use the terms culture and traditions. I’ll
follow up with “God given rights” (which are part of our culture and traditions).

Now we get to the third part of the charges against fubo in this scandal...violation of international treaties...add in the first charge, being complicit in the murder of a federal agent, and the second charge, illegal arms smuggling, and you have a trifecta that puts fubo in prison. The only bad thing is we get joe bite me as president...see tagline

Now we know why all those serial numbers that Obama was making such a splash about ended up in Mexico.

Let's get real, though. Mexico is receiving five to seven times as many weapons from other overseas sources. All those fully-automatic AK's, G3's, MP-5's, and FAL's did not come from US gun shows and FFL's.
