“Despite his conviction, Camping has predicted the world would end before - on September 4 1994.
That, he says, was a mistake, a misreading of the biblical codes used to decipher the exact date of the ‘rapture’.”

It is amazing how things never change.

In the 1840s, Seventh Day Adventist forerunner William Miller and founder Ellen G. White made similar false prophecies about the date of the end of the world, and there are still millions who follow their false, unbibilical teachings today.

Later, the JWs made similar predictions (for 1914 I believe) and they still have millions of gullible members.

Camping predicted the world would end 17 years ago and he still has gullible followers who ignore the Scriptures and believe him when he resets the dates.

If the Lord tarries, in 100 years, Camping might have millions more followers than he has today.

“Camping predicted the world would end 17 years ago “

Yeah but he forgot about leap years and Daylight Savings Time and he didn’t carry the three and he wasn’t wearing his reading glasses.

The JWs also changed the date, predicting the end in 1975.
