White House pleads ignorance to ‘Project Gunwalker’
Gun Rights Examiner ^ | 7 March, 2011 | David Codrea

Posted on 03/08/2011 4:23:41 AM PST by marktwain

“White House press secretary Jay Carney did not shed any light Monday on the allegations uncovered by CBS News that ATF intentionally let thousands of assault rifles and other weapons fall into the hands of Mexico's drug cartels. Insiders call the controversial practice letting guns ‘walk’,” Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News reports.

When questioned by chief White House correspondent Chip Reid if President Obama was "aware of the specific allegations,” Carney replied “I don’t know.”

Watch the exchange in the sidebar video player. And help raise the president’s awareness level if so inclined. That is if you believe the most powerful and one of the best-informed men on the planet is truly in the dark about a major scandal being reported on network news concerning his administration.

After all, he may need to intermediate between Eric Holder and Hillary Clinton.

The BBC has reported on this scandal now. Will the House start an investigation? The Democrats created an entire huge scandal out of nothing in the Valerie Plame attempt to discredit President Bush.

The House Republicans should be all over this very real abuse of power, where numerous people have been murdered.

If the President knows nothing of this atrocity he is totally incompetent.

He knows all right, it was part of his attack plan on the 2nd. amendment.

Declaring ignorance should not get him off the hook on this one.

Ignorance is nothing the WH needs to plead for, it is rampant at every level.

This story should dominate the MSM, but we all know this will get brushed aside to allow more Charlie Sheen ‘Breaking News Alerts’!!

This perhaps was a true statement by the WH. President (.)bama has made it so, he does not meet with is cabinet and only takes time to chat with his political advisors, after all, he is all knowing and needs no input. He has appointed fellow socialists to run their departments in his image and that is what is going on. How else could he be free to galavant about the globe constantly spewing his peculiar brand of kowtowing to every minority led state in the world.

He is the Sergeant Shultz of this era. Hopefully he ends up in a military prison.

Will the House start an investigation?

Wasn't there a request, at a hearing in Congress, not long ago by the FBI director to go behind closed doors for further discussions? I do not know if the request for closed doors was related to this matter. Anyone know?

They are working on a way to blame it on the previous adminstration.

Barry is just the front guy. His appointed fellow travellers actually run the country. And it doesn’t matter to him because he isn’t one of us.

Something to consider: the Mexican government could indict the responsible US officials for facilitating arms smuggling. Wouldn't that be interesting? I wonder if Mexico has felony murder.

I'll second that on this forum as well...not sure if the timing of examiners new format [no comments section, numerous spams] is coincidental or not, but this seems to be the only way to say it today...

Gunwalker or Gunrunner?

Not to nit-pick, but could we please all agree on one name for this scandal?

People refer to it as Gunwalker or Gunrunner – we need to chose one label and stick with it please.

Take it from the Marxists, they may be a bunch of low life, mealy mouthed sleaze balls that could tell the truth if their lives depended upon it …… oh crimminy.. What was my point…?

Oh Yeah, the Marxists know at least stick with one label for things.

[Note: I prefer Gunwalker because it is closely describes what really happened.]

White House pleads ignorance to ‘Project Gunwalker’

I thinks that may be true. It's called: Plausible Deniability

Barry told Holder to 'handle it' and that was that. Kind of like with Mission Impossible.

"As always, should you or any of your I.M. Force be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions."

What Barry doesn't know can't hurt him.
But it sure would be cool for him to throw Holder under the bus on this.

The exagerated stories of guns from America going to Mexico recently in the news, How guns from America were being bought here and taken into Mexico.

The purpose is to show that American gun dealers are supplying guns to the Mexican cartels . If Obama can show that he can responsibly come out against the 2nd amendment, with the real purpose of imposing more gun bans and attacks on our 2nd. Amendment rights.

Now we find that even though exagerated-— the stories of American guns going into Cartel hands are true, but the biggest truth is that ATF is the one allowing that to happen. In fact people are dying thanks to ATF and Obama’s plans to take away our rights.
