Katie Couric, George Stephanopoulos Party at Home of Convicted Pedophile, Pimp

“Jeffrey is a monster.” That’s how 27 year old Virginia Roberts describes convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and she should know. Virginia is now a married mother of three living in Australia but 12 years ago, when she was just 15, she was groomed by Epstein as his personal sexual assistant and traveling companion.

Last week Mrs. Roberts, who had been identified in court documents only as “Jane Doe 102,” saw pictures of Epstein walking free with Prince Andrew and got angry. She decided to break her silence and told her story over several days to the Daily Mail. You can read many of the gritty details of her time with Epstein here, but the bottom line is simple: Epstein trained Roberts as his personal “erotic masseuse” from the time she was 15 and then, while she was still underage, began flying her to his private island in the Caribbean for sex with his friends. In other words, he was acting as a pimp to a child prostitute.

The level of hypocrisy, especially in Couric’s case, is stunning. Here’s a finger-wagging report Couric did on the need for Congress to address underage prostitution and protect girls being exploited by pimps.

Note that this aired just two weeks after Couric attended the soiree at the New York home of convicted pedophile and pimp Jeffrey Epstein.

First sentence of Wikipedia article: “Jeffrey Edward Epstein (born January 20, 1953 in Coney Island, New York) is a Jewish-American financier and philanthropist.”

The defense in the prostitution charges was that all the girls told him they were over 18 and he believed them.

Why do you think these “news” people are anything but money hungry pigs? I don’t even have to hear underage prostitution, you’d think a guy running a prostitution ring would be bad enough.

I’m sure these scum like Couric would act like you’re an embarrassing tea partier for bringing up such things about their rich friend.

I'd like to know who the “well-known businessman with the pregnant wife in the next room” and the “liberal politician” that Epstein pimped her out to, were. It's disgusting that this a-hole got off (no pun intended) with a mere slap on the wrist.

Perhaps that's the 'in thing' to do at the types of parties these people attend. And I'm only half-kidding.

EXCERPT Epstein recently returned to his $50 million East 71st Street mansion to celebrate his release from jail. Epstein served 13 months for soliciting a 14-year-old gir for prostitution. Epstein was facing 10 years to life on multiple counts of statutory rape. Court documents claimed he routinely sought out girls as young as 14 and paid them $200-1,000 for sexual massages in his Palm Beach and Manhattan homes. He molested girls he had brought in from South America and Europe; he once was given three 12-year-old girls from France as a "birthday gift." Epstein struck a deal---the government agreed to drop its probe of various sex-crime allegations if Epstein copped to prostitution felonies in Florida state court.

Sick. But wealth, popularity and indulgent extravagance are what passes of “upstanding and meritorious” to so many in our times today — indeed in much of human history!

We must appreciate just how RARE are the times and places of moral sanity among the elite and powerful, such as that our forefathers came here to establish.

LIBERTY only grows in the soil of a morally sane soil. That soil has to be worked in every generation, a difficult unending task.

Can me get back to that task? Or will will the morally sane be overrun by the wild too?

Epstein, who is a billionaire money manager (hence the private island and private jet), faced dozens of counts of paying for sex with underage girls five years ago but avoided trial when the FBI stepped in and offered him a sweetheart plea bargain.

That would be Alberto Gonzales' DOJ under President Bush, would it not?

Yes, if the time line is correct. Interesting isn't it? The the squishy GOP and the dems have been playing good cop / bad cop for too long.
